Coming at you with some delts and biceps 🔥 Had a pretty good workout on my day back to the gym! Started tracking my food again today, (yes I stoped for a while) just cause I wasn’t feeling it but I’m back on my grind and won’t let anything in the way of it! I do agree that at times it gets hard and it almost feels like I’d be easier to just not do it and forget about it (which it is) but I feel SOOO much better when I’m tracking my food and choosing better options of food. And life just gets all in the way sometimes but you’ve got to be strict and follow your plan!! Only way you will see results. - Here’s some of my favorite moves for the delts and biceps! A must try for your next upper body day 🔥 1️⃣ face pull/ rear delt pull 3x20 yes this is going to work some of the back as well but I love to do these as a warm up for the delts. 2️⃣ overhead cable curls 3x15 3️⃣ alternating hammer curls 3x20 4️⃣ DB lying on bench rear lateral raise & front raises 3x20 5️⃣ barbell full curls and half 3x15 6️⃣ DB bicep curls 3x15 - Hope you guys are having an amazing start to your week! Booty pump 😎 - Little science lesson for ya: It’s so important to have that mind to muscle connection when training glutes. This occurs at the neuromuscular junction which sends a signal to your muscles telling them to contract. 💪🏼 - You’re muscles don’t grow from the up and down movement of the weight, they grow because they’re forced to contract by acting on that weight. I struggled with this for a long time and it does take some time to get a hang of!! 😊 - Here’s my workout: 1. Barbell squats: 4x12 2. Conventional deadlift: 4x10 3. Squat to cross lunge: 4x14 4. Sumo deadlift: 4x10 - The key to these exercises is to make sure you squeeze that 🍑 at the top!!! Your body doesn’t change as much as you think it does⁣ ⁣ I used to think if I had a “bad meal” or didn’t go to the gym for a few days I would lose all my progress or blow up. Especially if I ever stopped tracking my food, but once I did these things I realized that not much happened haha😂⁣ ⁣ You get so obsessed with whats “wrong” and what’s “right”, but Its not that complicated. Your body wants to work with you, not against you. It’s very smart and adapts quickly to changes⁣ ⁣ If you are gaining weight after a week off or a bad meal, then that tells you something is wrong. Your metabolism should be able to handle some extra food at times without going crazy. This is why I often have to increase clients calories, over dropping them⁣ ⁣ Stop stressing over living your dang life!! Eat the food, go to the party, take a break. You aren’t going to blow up. Just try it and see ✨

This is one of my favourite exercises to do on chest day. ⁣ ⁣ Give this a try⁣ ⁣ 5 sets ⁣ ⁣ 10-12 reps ⁣ ⁣ 60-90rests ⁣ ⁣ If chest is one of your lacking body parts there is a few things you can do to try and help with development.⁣ ⁣ Increase training frequency. So to really help me see growth in my chest I upped my frequency! What does this mean?⁣ ⁣ Simply increased the number of times per week your training chest. For example if your training chest only once a week, up it to twice it will make a massive difference.⁣ ⁣ Next is hit your chest at different angles. You can’t expect your chest to fully develop if your not hitting it at different angles. If your just doing flat bench and not doing in flys or incline bench press in your routine your missing out! Our mindset is a powerful tool...it can help us be our best selves or something that holds us back! One of my struggles has always been body image. I remember looking in the mirror and picking out everything I didn’t like and that over shadowed all the great things! In order to change this mindset I had to be willing to make the change. So now every morning when I am getting ready for work I look into that mirror and tell myself what I love! Is it easy every day not but the mindset shift is completely worth it! Take that mindset struggle and be willing to change it...that’s when you can find true happiness!

Maintain and Don’t Gain ⭐️Tip #4 ⭐️ Pick Which Days You Will Indulge During the holiday season, many people just given themselves carte blanche with their eating. Between the office parties, friend parties, school parties, church parties, family parties, the opportunity for going waaaaay off the rails for an entire month is all around. My suggestion isn’t to deprive yourself, but instead, map it out. Decide which days you will indulge a little instead of throwing up your hands and going nuts everyday. As an example, let’s say you decide on your company’s Christmas party, your friend’s cookie exchange, Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve to splurge a little and then eat your normal, healthy diet on the other days. By choosing which days you will loosen the reigns, you’ll have a much better chance if not overdoing it all season long. 🎄

Not a full leg day but a good chunk of it 🍑 Today was a more quad centric day- still full leg but more quad then hamstring. (I don’t really like to do split leg days) 🦋 squats: squeeze the core, stick the hips back, & keep back straight. Working on getting those reps up & feeling it more in ze bum 🦋 smith pulse squats: coming up half way, focusing on feeling it and not just bouncing 🦋 front squats: honestly for having a sprained pinky these look booootiful 🦋 back extensions: round the back to isolate the glute/hams more start with weight superset with no weight

FINDING MY PERFECT WORKOUT SPLIT 🏋️‍♀️ • TODAY’S TOPIC: How I’ve split my workouts & what I learned! When I first started my fitness journey a few months ago, I didn’t know much, all I knew was I wanted to reduce my overall fat percentage and build an hourglass shape. Learning from online sources, I would put together my own workout plans. The majority of my focus was on my lower body and cardio. If you look at my “Then” split on slide two, you’ll noticed that I wasn’t targeting specific muscles/areas of my body. To add, I was so intimidated to workout my upper body thinking I would bulk up and look slightly manly. My workout routine was all over the place and made no sense. Thus, the only result I was seeing was my weight shedding off but my body was not toning or shaping the way I wanted. Fast forward a few weeks, I joined an online program offered by an influencer. His program was focused mostly on upper body and two days on legs (PPL Split). At first I had my doubts, I thought I either will come out of this with no results or, bulky arms with no change to the rest of my troubled areas. At this point I was at my last trial and ready to give up. As days went on, I noticed that not only was I shedding my fat but, my body and muscles were toning and growing exactly the way I imagined. After learning as much as I could from following his program, I went on to create my own cutting split. Since then, I’ve been able to target my muscles in a way that would shape, tone and grow my muscles and body; even though I am in a cutting phase. Designed for me by me and I’m so happy to say that I haven’t given up and am still on my fitness journey. A successful fitness journey consists of a lot of trial and errors. There’s many ways to split your workout routine and there isn’t really any right or wrong. Although, finding the right way for you is crucial. life is gonna throw you a bunch of curveballs. and honestly there’s just no way around it. for a variety of different health reasons i haven’t been able to work out for quiet some time now. i’m realizing how much being able to move my body is crucial to my mental state. the feelings of strength and accomplishment that come after a great workout. the release of stress as i exert myself, sweating away my anxieties. the sense of gratitude i feel for being able to move and work in difficult and challenging ways. the rush of endorphins that boosts my mood and keeps me energized throughout the day. it’s easy to forget how lucky we are to have certain things. and i’ve been finding it so important to write down my gratitudes because otherwise i find myself just expecting certain things. i’m grateful for a body that lets me move and think and feel in healthy and incredible ways. i’m grateful for my support system that takes care of me when my health is wavering i’m grateful for my brain that has allowed to me to accomplish my academic goals i’m grateful to have the opportunity to be doing the thing i love and have worked for for years. i’m grateful to be me 💛

Who else was dragging this morning?! I hit snooze way too many times after getting car sick and having a massive migraine last night. Guess that forced me to work from home today 😂 Snoozing meant no workout this morning but I’ll be getting in my #weeklymovesworkouts in a few hours. ᴀɴᴢᴇɪɢᴇ Drink coffee, workout, be happy 🔥👊🏻. Einen wunderschönen Donnerstag Sportsfreunde 🙌🏻. Schnell einen Kaffee und dann geht’s ab zu @crossfitstuttgart 💪🏻. Bald ist das vegan Experiment abgeschlossen und ich werde so manche Sachen für die Zukunft daraus mitnehmen. Eins davon ist auf alle Fälle die Hafermilch, nicht nur im Kaffee, sondern auch im Porridge. Ein ausführlichen Fazit kommt dann in den nächsten Tage für euch. Probiert die Milch gerne mal im Kaffee aus, falls ihr es noch nicht gemacht habt. Ich finde der leichte Hafer Geschmack passt perfekt zum Kaffee 👌🏻. Habt einen tollen Tag meine Lieben ✌🏻.
