Finally got the depth I was looking for with 6 plates. Felt super smooth could of probably Hit a PR over 600 today. Next month maybe I’ll go for it. My leg works are simple. I stick to basics. A special friend asked me if I got my workout in a few hours ago. I just completely told myself. Ehhh it’s a me day. They told me all they did and even extra!!! When I was asked I felt inspired, pushed. Not pushed in a bad way. Pushed the way friends want to make each other better. A push in a great direction. Y’all your friends are there to make you better, not to tell you your doing amazing when they know you could do better. However there is a time when a friend just needs to be hugged, and they know already the wrong doings this is when your friend supports you through your struggles❤️ struggle with your friend up those hard parts though cuz you don’t just want them to feel average 😉🤗 umm can I just say I didn’t need anyone to buy me a Starbucks today, 😉 I needed someone to smile, ask me what I was up to, another friend to tell me to have a good day, someone to walk to the store and send me a picture of a craft that made them think of me. You guys.... it’s the little things in life that make us live in a good world full of wonderful people. It’s not what money can buy. I went all out for a homemade skillet for Rob and once I started making my dinner it just turned into some slightly cooked bell peppers, 3 scrambled eggs, sea salt, and hot salsa. 🤷🏼‍♀️😂I’m fried from work today so I forgot to sauté my green bell peppers. It was still good though! Lunch today was a southwest chicken salad from Chic-Fil-A and it was BOMB. 💣🧨 I love their avocado lime ranch but it is a splurge on calories so I prefer to eat a lighter dinner when I have a dressing so heavy. 🤗 time for my workout, a shower, then bed! It’s been 🔟 days since I’ve worked out. Actually it’s been 10 days since I’ve really moved at all (thank you wisdom teeth)..but I’m not here to complain that I think I’ve lost all my muscle or ruined all my progress.. I’m here to share that during these 10 days, I’ve cared about aesthetics the LEAST. 💯 There are so so so soooo many reasons to train and move your body and when it all comes down to it… how we look is just a cool advantage (okay a really cool one I’ll admit).🤷🏼‍♀️ But sleeping better, feeling more confident, being HAPPIER, having better digestion, better relationships, more energy, a healthier heart, a longer life, the power to influence others to fall in love with self progression too. THOSE are the things I’ve missed the past 10 days. And those are the real reasons we keep getting up at 5am and coming back to the gym for more everyday. Don’t lose touch with that.
