OCCHIO ALLA COLONNA! La colonna vertebrale costituisce la struttura di supporto del nostro corpo ed è formata dalla sovrapposizione di 33-34 vertebre. Sul piano sagittale la colonna presenta importanti curve fisiologiche: la lordosi cervicale, la cifosi dorsale e la lordosi lombare. Vi siete mai chiesti che funzioni abbiano queste curve? Le curve servono a conferire resistenza alla colonna e per questo motivo è opportuno mantenerle in ogni momento, soprattutto durante l'esecuzione degli esercizi. I più attenti avranno notato la presenza di una formula nell'immagine, cosa significa esattamente "R=N²+1"? Significa che quando la colonna mantiene le 3 curve (cervicale, dorsale e lombare) ha una resistenza pari al 100% (perché 3²+1=10) Se, ad esempio, nel momento in cui ci sediamo assumiamo una postura scorretta, riducendo o annullando la lordosi lombare, la colonna avrà una resistenza dimezzata, pari al 50% (perché 2²+1=5). As I navigate through this 7 day challenge w/ @jadealectra ....I don’t want it to end. Tomorrow is Day 6 which means “it’s almost over.” However, it’s not over-it’s just the beginning. The beginning of finding myself again. I thought I had once found me & then I lost it. If I only knew I had it this whole time. It’s like when you are trying to find your glasses when they’re on top of your head as you frantically rummage through everywhere becoming more frustrated. If only you BREATHED for just a flipping second-it would become clear. I was told a long time ago upon purchasing a singing bowl that a Buddhist was selling rejected my payment & refused to sell it to me. How would you NOT want money?! I asked him why and he said: “ YOU NEED TO LEARN HOW TO BREATHE FIRST.” ( ummmm what?!?) I was at a weekend festival in a tent in a desert. I sat in the tent solo while distant music & life was happening. I pondered WTH this guy meant & then I turned inward. Brand spanking new to this blissful world of yogis, hippies, artists alike. And I had no idea how to breathe. For hours I sat in that tent trying to figure it out when I finally “gave up” it hit me. Something external finally emerged & I fell asleep. The next evening I came by his booth again, picked up the bowl & began to make it sing, breathing w/each trace I circled around the small rusted golden bowl. He stopped me & told me the price. Yesterday was a 💩 day for my body. I couldn’t tell you why even if I wanted to. I’ve been consistently putting on wellness products like @hatshe.blends throughout the day . As I lifted my shirt , I was reminded once again. I laid down to catch up on a meditation I missed a LIVE of (now that the rest of the household is down, I can catch up with me) I was once again reminded the power of breath. Literally just breathing. You think I would have learned by now HA! Croyances limitantes• Aujourd’hui on parle d’un thème qui revient régulièrement en développement personnel (et pour cause, il est essentiel) : les croyances limitantes. Une croyance limitante est un schéma de pensée plus ou moins conscient, que l’on a intégré et qui régit nos actions (et pas d’une manière stimulante haha !). Elles sont un peu comme de petits démons qui viennent nous souffler à l’oreille des choses pas très agréables, et nous empêchent de mener à bien certaines actions. Elles nous viennent souvent de nos blessures passées, des conditionnements inculqués par l’éducation, la société, etc. Par exemple, une personne s’empêchera de monter son entreprise à cause de croyances limitantes quant à l’argent ou à sa légitimité. Comment trouver ses croyances limitantes ? Pour ma part, je te conseille de dresser une liste de toutes les choses que tu rêves/as envie de réaliser, maintenant, ou plus tard, à court terme, ou à long terme. Ensuite, demande-toi si, depuis que tu as eu ces idées de projets, tu as mis en place des choses, ou non. Si oui, nous nous pencherons là-dessus plus tard, afin de voir comment accélérer le processus de réalisation. Si non, ou si tu procrastines sans arrêt, c’est qu’il y a sans aucun doutes quelque chose à creuser. Voici quelques exemples de croyances limitantes : - Je suis trop vieux/vieille pour me lancer là-dedans - L’argent rend snob / Être pauvre = être humble - Je ne suis pas légitime [« par rapport à un tel », souvent] - Je ne peux pas changer - Je ne suis pas capableEtc. Je ne peux pas prétendre, sous un post instagram, te sortir la formule magique pour déconstruire une croyance limitante. Néanmoins, avoir une réflexion poussée sur les origines de ces croyances, de manière générale et non forcément spécifique à mon cas, m’a aidé à prendre du recul et à réaliser à quel point elles n’ont pas lieu d’être… elles sont là, mais sans servir à grand-chose haha^^ et depuis, je fais le point très régulièrement sur la qualité des choses que j’entreprends, les intentions que je place dans mes actions, etc. Bon courage! #developpementpersonnel #mentalhealth #empowerment #motivation #bienetre #wellness #health #work

We’ll share some playlists with you soon, but first here is a simple introduction to vinyasa/flow yoga music at home. Each of these albums is about an hour long, has a natural curve, i.e. starts grounding, increases beat, ends soft. For example there’s a certain poster at work that’s placed in several places around the building and to be honest I’ve read it so many times....The poster describes ‘5 ways to wellbeing’….and while wellbeing is ALWAYS and has ALWAYS been an important element to overall health…today I seemed to connect with this poster more than I ever had, simply because it’s actually so relevant to the context of the world right now! So I wanted to share these ‘5 ways’ with you….⠀ .⠀ 1. TAKE NOTICE – of the simple things that bring you joy and happiness. Write these down and take time to appreciate them.⠀ .⠀ 2. BE ACTIVE – Do what you can to move your body. This doesn’t have to be high intensity activity, just do what you can to get your body moving. ⠀ .⠀ 3. GIVE – Your time, your words, your advice, your presence. Now is an opportunity to give. ⠀ .⠀ 4. CONNECT – Talk and listen. Be there. Stay connected. It may be April fools but I’m not joking when I say I eat one breakfast burrito a day and I don’t see that changing anytime soon 🤩 because breakfast burritos are the best breakfast, lunch, or dinner out there (except for pancakes of course!) and are the perfect way to load in some veggies!
