MENTORS . I learnt the hard way about "doing it alone". As a single mum I got the message there was no one to help me so I just got on and did it all on my own. . Those years were a struggle. But I read every book under the sun & spent time finding the right healers & guides for me. . This road (the one you can see in the background) from last week. 13 years later I am back with one of my first ever healers and energy masters. This time though, they are my mentor too! . My transition over the past year isn't the craziest, or the best, but it is mine, and I thought it would be a nice thing to share. . I used to be very unhealthy, both physically and mentally. I was something called "skinny fat," seemingly skinny without being healthy. . The first photo is of my first day beginning to love myself. Before this point, I hated myself; after this point, I started to love myself more and more. I started to take care of myself. Now I love myself; I love my life. I've improved so much. Toxic people are gone, taught me so much about the real evil of people, the best person of my life has entered the chat, I love where I'm going, how I'm doing, and all I can do is say thank you to the people who destroyed me. Your destruction only taught me to rise up better and stronger... literally! 😇 @naelfelipe_ . Thank you, Arthur. The trauma you gave me allowed me to glow the fuck up, grow the fuck up, and get a badass tattoo! 🤪🍵 . I started doing workouts, though I did them painfully incorrectly and without the right nutrients, knowledge or awareness. I began to lose weight, dropped from probably the high 120s or low 130s to 112 lbs in less than a month. I looked and felt better, but I was still unhealthy, and always felt tired... I decided to make a change in the beginning of this year. I wasn't completely happy yet, and decided to upgrade. 💞 . I began to educate myself, building a passion for fitness and nutrition. I began counting my macros, building awareness what foods to eat, and did research on how to actually gain weight and muscle. . I don't have a crazy ass journey... but I thought I'd show how I've improved, though I did a lot of things wrong and had to learn very much. 🌻 . Life might seem like absolute shit, and maybe you don't want to be here anymore; trust me, I know... . But nothing is lost. Nothing is ever lost. Hold in there a little long and fucking love yourself, because you're the only one you've ever really got through and through. Didn't have a good day today and was not at all in a mood to hit the gym or go for a walk. Wanted to stay in bed but in the evening I just went out without any intention of working out or walking but ended up walking for 40 mins and cycling for 10 to 15 mins. At the end of the day am feeling really good,this is what being active and doing some sort of workout does to you. It can make a bad day good. Started training legs twice a week and sometimes by the end of the week my legs are so sore that I find myself struggling even with the simple exercises. Всё, выходные закончились, можно передохнуть! (Тут уж сами выбирайте, куда ставить ударение). В середине выходных моё ударение было на букву О, сейчас же уже на букву У. Завершили обустройство комнаты, все игрушки лежат теперь в коробках в стеллаже, повесили картины, муж сделал поднимающийся/опускающийся бортик для детской кровати, положили новый ковер, который кот уже успел подрать когтями (подстриженными), успели даже поругаться с мужем вплоть до развода и помириться, короче, скучать было некогда. Малыш сегодня отправился спать в свою кровать, на часах 22:30, он пока спит в ней, но думаю, всё же переберется ко мне. Я всё переживаю, что скоро большую кровать для него надо будет покупать, только куда её ставить... Но если он так и будет продолжать спать на животе, экономя место, новая кровать нам не скоро потребуется 😅 Так хорошо спит, обнял свои игрушки, милота. Только одеялом укрыть не даёт, чувствует, начинает брыкаться, но я всё равно предпринимаю попытки, боюсь, что прохладно, я-то под одеялом сплю. А теперь и я отправлюсь спать. Спокойной ночи! Так а что вы? ПередохнУли или передОхнули? (правильное слово - передохли, я знаю).

Dont really need gym to workout or any particular equipment,all one needs is the motivation. Unpopular opinion: “healthy swaps” aren’t always healthy emotionally and mentally. 😬 And I’m so tired of seeing this BS on Instagram! ⠀ (But don’t get me wrong, some swaps are great! And some people genuinely may enjoy the “Rice Cake Pizza” shown in this post!) ⠀ 😐 Zucchini noodles are a vegetable, not pasta. Processed cauliflower isn’t the same as actual rice. Rice cake pizza is so far from regular pizza I don’t even want to call it that- it’s more of a rice cake cheese melt you know? ⠀ 🤔I think these swaps make sense sometimes, of course- when the swap you’re making HONORS your craving. (Like if you’re actually craving a rice cake pizza or cauliflower rice, obviously that’s a great choice) ⠀ 🤦🏻‍♀️But I’m tired of diet culture feeding us the idea that these “healthy swaps” taste as good as the “real” thing. It’s just not true! (unless you just dislike the taste and experience of legit pizza or real pasta, I mean.. fine) ⠀ 🤬The way diet culture demonizes carbs in general really bugs me. We literally need carbs (rice, pasta, bread etc) to survive. Just look at the history of food all over the world: carbs have been an essential source of energy for centuries... and now we have decided they’re bad? No thanks. I’ll take my carbs because I want my brain to function properly. ⠀ ❓Something to think about: are you honoring your cravings? Are you making food choices based on what you really want or what you think is going to give you the body you want? And do your choices really satisfy you? ⠀ 🙏🏼Why I care: I can’t stand the thought of people in my community depriving themselves of real pizza and going for this rice cake pizza BS if that’s not what they actually want. Give yourself permission to eat the pizza. You don’t have to EARN it. You don’t have to justify it with exercise. Booty game is coming in hard today 🍑 I literally had to take the day off because all sitting, getting up, and walking hurts 😂 one thing I have changed which I think is to blame, instead of using a bench for hip thrusts, using something much lower to the ground. So for me I get a lot more feel from a step up 👏🏻 you can heighten those to any height. So you're sick of feeling crappy, you're worried for future you so it's time to lose fat and start feeling healthier. - You manage it for 3 weeks then old habits start creeping back in. - Sound like a familiar cycle? - In my experience working with a multitude of online clients there are generally similarities between stories. - It starts with an extreme beginning You follow the most restrictive diet because that's what's necessary right? - Mmm not so much - This approach isn't necessary and generally leads you right back to your old habits. - General disorganisation and no system When you're trying to learn new habits you need to actually do some thinking and learning to plan things ahead of time. - If you continue to free wheel in a state of chaos you will end up back at square one. - Remember change needs change - Set yourself up for success - You must make your environment reflect what you're trying to do. - Having a fridge full of trifle and eating universal portions is not a recipe for success. - You also need to have a basic meal structure so you gain momentum of eating consistently well - This also helps you to be organised, having a structure makes it easier - Meal times - A lot of people literally zone out.You need to be present when you eat. - Your body could be saying " yo I’m full”but you miss it and keep eating - Some of my online clients do hunger logs pre and post meals to help them establish this “being present” behaviour. - Your company - If you are surrounded by “ goal sabotagers” mainly in the form of food pushers here's my advice - 1. Minimise the time spent with them 2. Всё, выходные закончились, можно передохнуть! (Тут уж сами выбирайте, куда ставить ударение). В середине выходных моё ударение было на букву О, сейчас же уже на букву У. Завершили обустройство комнаты, все игрушки лежат теперь в коробках в стеллаже, повесили картины, муж сделал поднимающийся/опускающийся бортик для детской кровати, положили новый ковер, который кот уже успел подрать когтями (подстриженными), успели даже поругаться с мужем вплоть до развода и помириться, короче, скучать было некогда. Малыш сегодня отправился спать в свою кровать, на часах 22:30, он пока спит в ней, но думаю, всё же переберется ко мне. Я всё переживаю, что скоро большую кровать для него надо будет покупать, только куда её ставить... Но если он так и будет продолжать спать на животе, экономя место, новая кровать нам не скоро потребуется 😅 Так хорошо спит, обнял свои игрушки, милота. Только одеялом укрыть не даёт, чувствует, начинает брыкаться, но я всё равно предпринимаю попытки, боюсь, что прохладно, я-то под одеялом сплю. А теперь и я отправлюсь спать. Спокойной ночи! Так а что вы? ПередохнУли или передОхнули? (правильное слово - передохли, я знаю).
