Recently I found this picture that my 5 year old son drew. It is of me & him, as you can see he’s drawn me sad with tears on my face. It saddened me to see this, my main aim in life is to protect love & care for my children. Even though I may plant on a smile on my face & try to always be positive, children are not silly, they pick up on so much more than adults realise. The only way I can be the best mum I can be to my children, is to work on me ! Constantly healing from the effects of my own childhood. One day at a time. Being honest with myself & taking an honest look at myself. Not beating myself up for being human. Putting down the stick & picking up the feather. On a flight they tell you to put on your own air mask before helping anyone else ! If I am not breathing how can I be of any aid to others? Including my children. I don’t just want to meet their physical needs, I want to be present enough to meet their emotional needs, I can only do that by being emotionally present for myself. How do I do this? 🧶5 NAČINA ZA REŠAVANJE LENJIOSTI. 🦥⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 🚧Jedan od ključnih razloga neuspeha, i prepreka u radu na sebi, je LENJOST, ili čuveni ulepšani izraz "ZONA KOMFORA". 🤦‍♀️🤦⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 🎭Pored lične lenjosti, tu su i "POMAGAČI LENJIVCI" - Ljudi iz našeg okruženja koji se prosto hvale kada kažu da su lepo ušuškano ušli u svoju zonicu komfora, i da ne bi ništa menjali kod sebe, ili bar neko vreme, ili znaju da im to ne valja ali "neka me još malo ovako", sa kojima radimo, družimo se, ili živimo, i koji nam pomažu da se srozamo i predjemo u njihov tim. 🦴⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 🦥Da to su klasični luzeri, i lenčuge, koje treba držati na distanci ili ispratiti iz života, bez imalo oklevanja, ma koliko ih voleli, jer lenjost se širi kao zaraza, za čas nas povuče i odvuče. 🐾⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ ⌛️Naravno da nije lako promeniti ovu lošu naviku, i suprostaviti se izgovorima koje ona iznova servira, ali je zato mnogo lep osećaj kada je pobedimo, i štikliramo uspešno obavljene zadatke dana. 🎁⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 🔋🧰Ono što eleminiše lenjost je AKCIJA. Zato predlažem:🛠🪓⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 1. Dnevni plan rada- osmisliti za svaki dan, napisati i štiklirati na kraju dana, oceniti sebe. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 2. Dati sebi rok ukoliko je moguće, da bi se smanjio sindrom "sve u 5 do 12". ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 3.Uvesti potsetnik u vidu alarma (eliminacija sindroma-zaboravio/la sam).⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 4. Kada se setiš obaveze koju treba da uradiš, probaj da je uradiš odmah (eliminacija heroja Sutramena). ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 5. Sistem nagrade a ne kazne- Nagradi se posle obavljenog posla, (ali dok ne završiš nema ni cigare, recimo). ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ 📲Za dodatne metode ličnog razvoja možeš doći po još saveta. “To know thyself is the beginning of wisdom” ✨ Self-discovery and self-worth/self-love are the foundation of happiness. When you know who you are and what you want, when you cultivate self-understanding and self-knowledge, this leads to more happiness, less inner conflict, better decision-making, self-control, resistance to social pressure, tolerance and understanding of others, and vitality and pleasure. In order to cultivate authenticity, you need to first know who you are. You probably hear the phrases ‘you do you’ or ‘be yourself’ a lot, but who even is the authentic you? When you know yourself, you will be happier as you can freely express who you are and what you want. Expressing your desires will make it more likely to get what you want. Being authentic and who you truly are helps you feel more alive and makes your experience of life richer, larger and more exciting. You create vitality and pleasure and are more likely to feel fulfilled. By being more self-aware of your own flaws this also helps you empathise more with others. Authenticity is the foundation for connection and intimacy as it cultivates tolerance and understanding of others. You are also more likely to be resistant to social pressure. When you are grounded in your values and beliefs, you are less likely to be a people-pleaser. You become better at decision-making because you trust your inner wisdom rather than seeking external validation and approval. Finally, you have less inner conflict. This is something I personally really struggled with. When my outside actions weren’t in accordance with my inside feelings and values, I felt a lot of shame which weakened my self-worth. When you understand yourself better and increase your self-knowledge, you cultivate self-control. You understand what motivates you to resist self-destructive habits and develop ones that align with who you want to be. You have the insight to know which values and goals activate your willpower. SELF-DISCOVERY and SELF-WORTH/SELF-LOVE is the foundation to my work because it is fearless authenticity that creates freedom and happiness ✨

Posted @withregram@dr.surdykapt Wrist Pain with Push Ups — If you’re having wrist pain with push ups, one of the easiest solutions is to simply utilize dumbbells, handles, parallettes, or perform them on your firsts or towels. — Some may argue that this is a compensation for a lack of wrist extension so I am going to give an unpopular opinion. — Exercise prescription from the perspective of a clinician or trainer is extremely complex. Most people consider how to optimize movements biomechanically for the best results, but there are no results if there is no adherence to an exercise routine. — Imagine that an individual has 15 minutes to perform a home workout, 2 times per week. No equipment. No desire to do more than that. No previous training history. They have agreed to do two movements: push ups and squats. However, you discover that they lack wrist extension so push ups are painful. What do you do? — As I alluded to, some will say that they shouldn’t do push ups until they are able to do them with the usual technique pain free without modifications. In this scenario, I disagree. — If I have the individual spend 10 minutes out of their 15 minutes to willingly exercise on improving wrist extension, I’m missing the big picture. — I’d rather have the person perform push ups with a modification, superset that with the squats, and simply focus on improving consistency and motivation to train. Then, over time, ask for 20 minutes. Or 25 minutes. Or 3 times per week. Then, after the habit is built, if the wrist extension is still a concern, we can spend some time on that. — Starting and adhering to exercise is hard enough for most people. We’ve all been there- been left disappointed, upset or infuriated because something didn’t work out like we EXPECTED it too. Now I’m mainly talking about interactive situations here but it’s pretty applicable to most things. Expectation makes us put pressure on ourselves, the “situation” and others in order to achieve an experience or outcome that we have tailored to ourselves... and we wonder why this contributes to anxiety? Life doesn’t read our personal requirements list and goes “yeah- great job I’m going to plan this series of events exactly how you requested it to occur”. It just flows, and in order to remove this expectation, you gotta learn to just flow too. Now I’m not saying don’t plan ahead or prepare, I’m just saying once everything’s said and done, don’t expect anything. You’d be surprised at the amount of relief you get when you take that pressure of what you cannot control away from yourself 🥰

Tapi menurut gw, terlalu fokus dan hanya fokus pada satu hal akan bisa menghancurkan juga. Karena ketika fokus cuman kepada satu hal dan bodo amat terhadap hal lain, kita tidak akan bisa merespon terhadap hal" lain itu yang mungkin bisa destruktif terhadap kita. Alhasil, fokus tanpa distraksi kita akan hancur dan sia" karena distraksi itu sendiri. "Seorang leader yang baik adalah orang yang bisa melihat situasi secara lebar dan kesuluruhan, agar bisa mencari solusi, ketika lingkungan mempengaruhi kita untuk fokus terhadap distraksi." Padahal kalau kita ambil satu langkah kebelakang, kita akan punya sudut pandang yang lebih luas untuk bisa mengamati situasi, merespon bukan bereaksi, dan mengambil keputusan yang lebih baik. Wow - we’re four weeks into 2020. Who’s already feeling anxiety and pressure or even FOMO? 🙃 It’s so easily done, right? The term “burnout” was first coined by Dr. Herbert Freudenberger in 1974 in his book Burnout: The High Cost of High Achievement. He defined it as “the extinction of motivation or incentive, especially where one’s devotion to a cause or relationship fails to produce a desired result” ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ . Basically, a burnout is the way our brain and body reacts to prolonged stress due to feeling discouraged and exhausted. We tend to become cynical when burnt out and start to perform poorly at work because we start to hate it. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ . In this list are some common signs of a burnout. It is related to my previous post that lists physical and psychological symptoms of stress. These are related because when we are in that stressful state for a long period of time, we will eventually experience a burnout. Although it is not a psychological disorder, it is something we should take seriously. We spend a lot of our time working. So, if we start to hate our job and are not satisfied with what we are contributing, our health can deteriorate significantly. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ . Pushing ourselves to the point of exhaustion will result in us feeling burnt out. We lose focus and may even have reduced cognitive functioning. We may think we are working hard, but we are most likely not working efficiently! If you are feeling burnt out, I encourage you to take a break and recharge this weekend. It’s the hardest part, but you actually have to be active to solve problems. If it means that you will need support, get help. Es ist so viel mehr, als du siehst.👁 _ Menschen, die Depressionen haben, sind dünnhäutig, sensibel und empfindlich. Weil sie oft sehr lange stark sind und dann irgendwann keine Kraft mehr haben. Die Fassade beginnt zu bröckeln... Was ich damit meine?👇🏼 _ Wenn ich sage, dass ich traurig bin, dann bin ich nicht "nur" traurig. Dann bin ich verletzt, von innen. Ganz tief verletzt. Es sind die kleinsten Dinge, die mich dann ‚traurig’ machen. Ich vergesse plötzlich, welcher Schlüssel an meinem Bund eigentlich mein Haustürschlüssel ist und stehe weinend vor der Tür. Ich fühle nur, wie ich innerlich in tausend Trümmer zerfalle...💥 _ Wenn ich sage, dass es mir schlecht geht, dann geht es mir nicht "nur" schlecht. Dann geht es mir so schlecht, dass es sich anfühlt, als würde ich jede Sekunde um's Überleben kämpfen. Und das kommt oft einfach so aus dem nichts... Ich sitze da und in mir steigt ein Gefühl auf, was sich wie ein tiefes Loch anfühlt, dass mich verschlingt. Ein plötzliches Gefühl von einem ganz schlechten Gewissen, was so tief in die Magengrube geht, dass ich fast daran ersticke.😐 _ Das sind die dunkelsten Momente, die ich schon oft erleben musste. Ich dachte, es wird nie wieder besser, weil ich mir einfach nicht vorstellen konnte, wie ich diesen schwarzen Schatten, der mein Leben mit jedem Tag verdunkelt hat, wieder loswerden sollte. Aber es ist möglich, wie ich jetzt selbst spüre.✨ _ Zu verstehen, wann etwas zu viel ist und dann auch zu stoppen. Zu sehen, was tut mir gut und was darf ich aussortieren.
