This time last year I was championship fit!!! Definitely not in that shape now, so today was Day 1 of an attempt to regain some bit of fitness!! Morning beach run 🏃‍♀️and some core work 🤸‍♀️in the middle. Stated off easy enough today, I reckon if it was 3-4 km i'd be doing well!!). Followed it up with some swimming (in the pool not the sea (yet). Hoping to improve my (lack of) swimming over the next couple of weeks. Lesson in the morning then practice practice practice!!! Swimming is definitely something I'm weak at and is holding me back (dreaming of a Tri!) so time to fight those demons and go for it!! 💪🏻👊🏻💪🏻👊🏻🏊‍♀️. Such a great start to the day, now to maintain that healthy habit. The struggle is real I know. I have been there. We all want to have positive results while continuing to maintain our old ways of living. But it doesn’t work that way now does it. Sometimes when people ask me” what are you doing to lose weight?” When I answer with I exercise 3x/week @north_hb_fbbc , walk 15,000 steps a day, maintain a healthy calorie deficit (monitor portions and practice intuitive eating) people usually tune me out or i feel the internal eye roll 🙄 happening. I get it ... it’s a lot... but if you want amazing changes you must do remarkable things. Gotta be open to trying new things 💫 - It doesn’t have to be a unicycle but maybe it could be trying a new gym, or starting a home workout program, maybe even just going for some walks! - If you’re someone that hasn’t started exercising yet in any form, that’s completely fine! Life gets busy, we all get busy. BUT may I suggest trying something new and just going for that walk, try that home workout or start in a gym. - Could be the first step to a new way of life that can help you become stronger, become healthier physically and mentally and if your goal is weight loss that’ll drastically help too! - So just remember, try something new. Someone once said that it takes 21 days to build a new habit. So I took up the challenge and decided to try something new for 21 days and see if it stuck around. First week it was hard but after that week went by I started to look forward to it and following days after I was even craving the habit. So you can stay it works as long you keep it as a routine (for ME). Around the same time every day dedicated a time during my day that seemed to be less active and made it into a productive time. Will I continue it? I hope so! So try something new or something you been wanting to be consistent with and use social media for accountability. When I saw this quote I thought WOW!⁠ ⁠ This is so true, when we eat mindfully...⁠ ⁠ So often in all areas of our life we just fall into the automatic, the I don't want to think about this right now.⁠ ⁠ We comfort eat, we don't exercise because we don't feel like it.⁠ ⁠ We want to be healthier, skinner, feel better and so much more but we continue to sit on the couch, keep doing the same thing over and over again and nothing changes.⁠ ⁠ I hear people everyday who are teaching others about health and I cringe as I hear them speak about government guide lines, how we need to eat 3 times a day and the list goes on, these things they are advising others to do are how we got into this mess already and it hasn't worked and our country and world is getting sicker, fatter and more unhealthy every day.⁠ ⁠ It seems simple to me, if something isn't working then we need to try a totally different approach, may be something even really out of the box, a bit radical, lol.⁠ ⁠ And then people criticise, that would be the ones who don't want to change, or try something that may even work.⁠ ⁠ And besides if people are well and healthy then their is no sickness industry and they wouldn't like that.⁠ ⁠ Treat your body with love and respect, I guess we need to ask the question to ourselves...⁠ ⁠ What do I want more?⁠ ⁠ To keep saying how I want to feel better, be healthier, lose those 10 pounds and be able to hike up that mountain, wishing away my life while at the same time putting things in my body that make me feel terrible.⁠ ⁠ Its time to decide today and to make those changes that we need to make to regain the health and vitality that we want.⁠ ⁠ Its simple, Its your choice and you get to take action and be a better version of who you want to be.⁠ ⁠ Make today day one of that process...⁠ ⁠ 2 Love - 2 Dream - 2 Serve⁠ .⁠ .⁠ .⁠ #livewell #bewell #shakeupyourwakeup #healthychanges #respectyourbody #healthylifestyler #newhabits⁠

So... how was your first week of the back-to-school grind? Its been a transition here but it has also motivated me a bit. We have to get up EARLY to beat the traffic! I know how important it is to stay healthy with all of the new germs everywhere. I’ve been diffusing oils that fight toxins every day! The Bug 🐛 and I are both starting our days off with protein shakes (she likes peanut 🥜 butter and banana 🍌). We are open to recipe ideas (hint hint) Im also trying to add some yoga to my routine (As of yesterday). Note: do NOT start with the free total body yoga workout on demand! That guy is a beast!!! Disrupt Your Routine! . What is it about our attitude and learned expectations, that we automatically feel that disruptions to our regular routine will degrade us? Why do we anticipate putting on weight, feeling “off”, etc? Of course our actions follow our expectations and so we fulfill our belief by eating worse, exercising less, and of course our negative mindset imposes a stress of itself onto our biology. . Given majority of people do NOT have a perfect home-based routine in terms of feeling positive, rested, lean, fit, strong, productive, thinking clear and peaceful, why then not use routine disruption as the opportunity to do things better? . There is absolutely no reason disruption must be to the worse. That’s your choice. . Leverage disruption as the opportunity to adopt better habits to step into a routine better than what you can stick to at home. Travel is the perfect opportunity, away from our bad habits, and of temporary duration, it’s the optimal time to embrace a better approach to food, fitness and the biggest one - mindset. . Humans tend to automatically think the worse. Shift perspective to how you can make things great and grab on to chances beyond your familiar routine to redefine how you’d like to approach everything!

New Habits Everytime I finish up a product I am trying to see if there is a #plasticfree swap. My latest goodies came today from @babipur. The Lamazuna shampoo bar is becoming a firm favourite both for myself and my son. It's curly girl friendly with no sulphates or silicone and is leaving both our hair shiny and soft. The Dentabs are a bit of a change for me - toothpaste in a tab! I'm a bit sceptical but really want to find an alternative to toothpaste in a tube which can't be recycled. Tookies - ethical washing up cloths. I have always used your normal washing up cloths but have recently realised that they are primarily made from plastic. These hemp and cotton cloths are not only free from any nasties, they can also be composted or used as potting mesh once they've come to the end of their life. Plus they are fair trade which sometimes is more important. #plasticfreejuly was a great starting point but it shouldn't just be for a month. But to reach it, you need to have a plan to get there.”⁠ ⁠ If your goal is to create a specific healthy habit in your life, you need to break it down in small bite-sized actionable chunks. ⁠ ⁠ It’s the small actions you take towards your goal that end up compounding so that you can reach your ultimate. ⁠ ⁠ IT MAY NOT SEEM LIKE YOU'RE MOVING FORWARD but you are. It's only when you look back to see how far you come, that you realise all those small steps led you to where you are today.⁠ ⁠ Take this photo for example. 🤦‍♀️☀️Je suis désolée d'avance pour cet article mais... Ça y est... Les vacances d'été touchent presque à leur fin... 😭👋 . ▶️ Et comme chaque fin d'été, la rentrée provoque des comportements souvent... Stricts et aberrants 🤔 . 🏋️‍♂️ Vous savez, s'inscrire à grande vitesse dans une salle de sport, débuter un régime ultra strict pour éliminer les excès de l'été ? Et tenir tout ça.... Une semaine ? 💸💸 . 👍 Choses raisonnables et durables à faire : . ✔️ Reprendre le sport progressivement si vous avez arrêté tout l'été, 1x à 2x par semaine, puis on augmente. . ⛔ Ça ne sert à rien de reprendre 5 fois/semaine pour mourir de courbatures par la suite et refaire une pause de 1 mois 😅 . ✔️ Reprendre un équilibre alimentaire stable, on peut continuer les apéros et bbq car l'hiver n'est pas encore là ⛄, mais 1 à 2x par semaine.. . ⛔ Pas d'apéros tous les soirs on se calme ! . ✔️ On garde les féculents, les protéines, les légumes, les assaisonnements etc etc.... ⛔ On ne supprime rien de son alimentation !! . ✔️ Si vous avez besoin d'un suivi et d'un cadre, n'hésitez pas à prendre rdv avec moi au cabinet où à distance 😉. ⛔ Et on n'entame pas une régime strict hyperproteine ou snas féculents que vous allez tenir au mieux 2 mois... I’ve learned how to become SUPER HUMAN! 🤯 Want to know the secrets? - - Look in the mirror. Can you see yourself? - Not just your image but WHO YOU ARE. - Now be honest. We tend to know there are things we need to change or do yet we stay in our old comfortable patterns, snuggled up where we know it’s safe and predictable. - Get uncomfortable! - Challenge yourself. Lean into the pain, the struggle, the fear, the UNKNOWN. It’s scary, yes. But you’ll grow, and not always upward or linear, because growth just never seems to happen how we want or expect it to. It ebbs and flows. It’s forward and back, sometimes we grow in messy knots, untangling past traumas buried deep in our souls. And we need to take days off to recover from the progress we’ve made. This self work, self care, SELF LOVE is part of what will help you live a long happy life. - What habits are you going to change? Who do you want to be? You can be anyone and anything you want! ...baby steps will get you there. - Start with one habit and do this for 66 days. Make it a small realistic one so you can stick to it without getting down on yourself because you made it too hard. Then build on this newly formed good habit with the next habit you want to form. Alltså 😍 Nu har jag lyckats göra lchf-chokladmousse som är PERFEKT! Modifierade receptet jag använde mig av i fredags... 2 dl grädde + 2 äggulor + 1 msk vaniljarom + 60 gram mörk choklad 70% 😍 Mycket mindre mörk choklad än i det ”riktiga” receptet, men SÅ mycket fluffigare och godare 🤗 Detta blir kvällens Idol-mys. Ni tittar väl?! 🙃 (Juli hittade skålen. Tror moussen fick godkänt även av henne)

Mornings have always been my favourite time of day! - My routine at the minute is; 👉🏻Eyes open "hey there sexy day!" 👉🏻Up no snooze 👉🏻10 cat cows 👉🏻Hydrate 👉🏻Get ready while listening 1-2 podcasts 👉🏻Eat 👉🏻Then begin my work day. - I try to avoid starting to dive into anything work related till all that's done. We all know the scenario something you think is going to take 2 minutes takes 20 then it throws eveything else out and leaves you feeling stressed! - Sound familiar?! - The advantages of having a plan and set boundaries for myself is there's way less chance of this happening. - Morning routines are something I get my online clients to work on and we focus on getting them to structure it so it's Relevant (might as well do things which are positively contributing to what they want for themselves)👉🏻Filled with positive actions; 👉🏻bed making 👉🏻hydrating 👉🏻focused breathing 👉🏻eating nutrient dense foods 👉🏻affirmations 👉🏻 mirror work (saying something nice to themselves in the mirror) - By performing positive actions you feel like a positive human, which then totally feeds into the mood for the day. - I know mornings are not everyones favourite thing!
