3 minutes nasal breathing before trying to sleep. No mouth breathing. • I like to use this app (with blue light filter on!) at night. • I normally suggest start at 6 sec in, 6 sec out, 6 sec hold. Work up to at least 10 seconds on each. Longer if you wish. For a minimum of total 3 minutes, again, longer if you wish. • Hand to belly. Make sure you’re breathing into your belly. Shoulders and chest are not to rise.

I basically don’t care what supplements you’re taking. • Are you exercising appropriately and consistently for your goals? • Are you eating fairly well? Ingesting mostly whole foods? • Are you sleeping fairly well? Or at least striving for decent sleep? • Are you generally active? As in, what do you do outside of your structured exercise? Are you sat down for long durations? This could be down to your job, lifestyle choices etc? • Are you taking on decent amounts of protein through whole food sources? • Until the basics are in place, IDGAF what supplements you’re taking.

Take ownership of your muscle building goals. • So often fat loss goals are talked about, to the point where muscle building goals might not be talked about as frequently. This is especially true with women, but it’s becoming more common place with women’s goals, which is EXCELLENT. • So, as with fat loss goals, take ownership of your muscle building goals. • No one is going to do it for you. • There are no magic pills. Nope, not even taking creatine or protein or eeeeeven steroids will do it for you. • You HAVE to put in the HARD work. • Do some form of resistance training to the point where your reps are forced to slow down towards the end of a set, or you fail (only occasionally fail, doing this too often may be detrimental to progress). • Do resistance training regularly and prioritise it. Be consistent. One workout isn’t all of a sudden going to add muscle. • Yoga, running, bodypump, bootcamp and HIIT (and anything of this nature) should take a backseat if muscle building is your main goal. • Eat in a surplus and get over being lean for the time being. This will put you in an optimal position for muscle growth.

I struggle to get enough calories. Yoi have to stick to CALORIE-DENSE foods when bulking if that's the case foe you too! Foods that don't fill you up that much but are loaded with cals. Also, start the day of eating off as EARLY as possible. Screw intermittent fasting. Do this: - 1. Get out of bed and chug a gainer-shake (homemade). Oats. Whey. Almonds. Berries. Bananas. Etc. 1000+ calories EASY. - 2. Bring a high protein lunch to work or school. Get it down. Up to 1000 cals easy. - 3. Have a snack of a couple hundred cals. Fruit is great. - 4. Hit the gym hard! - 5. Eat a big dinner. If you got enough cals in for breakfast and lunch, this could be a quite small meal. - 6. Have some eggs and toast to finish off the day. If you don't have enough calories in by now, I don't know what you are doing. 😂 - ℹ This isn't that hard. When you get used to it, it will become a habit. Kettlebell side snatches ! This is a great exercise I learned from Pavel years ago. I have posted the more advanced double kettlebell version of this, and I had it printed in Muscle and Fitness magazine too, but honestly this version is just as good.  And much easier to learn. And you can go heavier but you didn't hear that from me. ------- Ok so you're on a decent kettlebell program and you're pressing 2 or 3 times a week. But you're looking for a little extra boulder in the shoulder ? ------ Let's say your kettlebell press program is 5 x 1,2,3,4 L + R. Finish all those sets wait 1:00 or 2:00. ------ Then do 4 x 6L-6R or up to 10L-10R if you need to. Rest 1:00 between sets. Do this on 1 or 2 of your pressing days.Your delts will thank you. ----- Before you tackle these you should probably learn the swing and the regular Russian kettlebell snatch first. Then this side snatch variation is actually pretty easy. Here are some tips and pointers. #1 Park the bell in front of the foot on the side you intend to snatch with. Your backswing should be angled back at 45 degrees towards your left thigh(if you're snatching with your right hand) #2 snap hips forward as you would for a regular swing or snatch. #3 Pull a little and flip the kettlebell over so it lands softly on your wrist when your arm is parallel to the floor and hold it for second or 2. #4 Flip the kettlebell back over  in the reverse direction of the arc you travelled up on. #5 Keep plenty of space between your knees for the kettlebell to pass !!! Seja sua maior inspiração! Na primeira foto, eu com 13 anos, nas segunda e terceira, hoje, com 30 anos. Mas não foram 17 anos para 'emagrecer', foram 15 anos de um efeito sanfona que parecia SEM FIM. Dietas malucas, anorexia, bulimia, sobrepeso... essas palavras me acompanharam a vida inteira. Mas desde outubro de 2013 resolvi me reeducar PRA SEMPRE, porque por mais falhas que hajam, sempre volto à minha rotina. Tento dia após dia mostrar pra vocês que dieta não 'tem que ser sofrida', a refeição não precisa ter um 'sabor ruim' para ser 'do bem'. Nós não 'temos que' fazer musculação para sermos saudáveis, é o que eu gosto, mas vc pode se encontrar na dança, na yoga, no pilates, na corrida, na natação! O que importa é suprir o corpo com alimentos do bem e se movimentar, como for, com quem for, como quiser, desde que orientados por profissionais capacitados. Não desista porque não tem roupa de marca pra desfilar na academia, lá não é lugar de desfile. Não desista porque alguém olhou torto pq vc está acima do peso, vc pode ser o futuro inspirador de muitos outros. Já riram muito de mim, já deixei de fazer aulas de Educação Física no colégio pq os colegas me zoavam. Só fiz atrasar meu sucesso. Vamos começar agora?
