So to incorporate rest-pause training you start your set and go until failure then you wait a few seconds (depending on your goal) and you go until failure again (probably another 2-4 reps) then your set is finished.⁣ ⁣ ---⁉️Why do rest-pause training?⁣ ⁣ Rest-pause training is commonly used to heighten the intensity of an exercise. This is mainly useful for hypertrophy and strength-endurance training. 𝗪𝐇𝐘 𝐘𝐎𝐔 𝐒𝐇𝐎𝐔𝐋𝐃𝐍'𝐓 𝐀𝐕𝐎𝐈𝐃 𝐄𝐆𝐆 𝐘𝐎𝐋𝐊𝐒⁣ ⁣ There can be a lot of misleading information out there and this is especially true when it comes to nutrition. It is important to educate yourself and others on building a healthy relationship with food. This starts by understanding the composition of your food (both macro and micro nutrient wise) and how this plays a role in your diet based on your current goals. We see this play out with eggs and how they can often get a bad reputation but for the wrong reasons. We should not put labels on food such as "bad" or "superfood" as these can be misleading and lead to greater issues. ⁣ ⁣ This may be difficult for some to understand as everyone will be coming from different backgrounds, beliefs, etc. so more time and effort may be needed for some individuals. This is not a bad thing and is something you will come across often as a personal trainer. Some people will learn quickly, while others may need more convincing and/or time. ⁣ ⁣ How to you approach educating your clients? Let us know in the comments below!
