Booty Workout! These are some of my favorite exercises to workout my glutes. I recommend going really heavy (I had to bring the weights to this roof and so I’m going light for this demonstration) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ If you are trying to grow muscle remember to get your protein in. I recommend getting at least 20g of protein 3-6 times a day. BUT if you’re trying to lose fat and build muscle I don’t recommend just adding the protein on top of your regular diet but instead switch out a couple of things in your diet so that you don’t increase your calorie intake. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ There are 5 exercises in this one and when going super heavy and striving for muscle growth go for 8-12 reps. You should be fighting for your life on that last one! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 1. Split squat to single leg deadlift 2. Elevated sumo squats 3. Elevated single leg deadlift 4. Sigle leg hip thrust 5. Full BACK & SHOULDERS Pull Workout. This took me 40 minutes and consisted of 3 back exercises and 2 shoulder exercises. So if you're short on time, then bookmark this post. Fun fact: shoulders are considered to be both push AND pull muscles. Exercises like shoulder press or any other kind of military press would be considered pushing exercises and can be trained with chest to make a complete push workout. Likewise exercises like rear delt flyes, lateral raises, and upright rows are considered to be pulling exercises and can be done with back to make a complete pull workout. Well, Today was a good day😊 I went to the gym, worked up a nice sweat.💦💦 I ate everything on my meal plan and only deviated a little when I had a taste of this super easy "artisan bread" that I made today. It has been so hot here, wow. Honestly you don't even have to work out to work up a sweat, and the loadshedding sure doesn't help either 😖

Spoiler alert: you have toxic traits. How much longer do you want to ignore them?⁣ ⁣ We all have them. ⁣ ⁣ 👉🏻Mine were⤵️⁣ ⁣ ➡️Self sabotage. [I would quit before I even got started, told myself I wasn’t smart/capable/worthy enough of the life I wanted.]⁣ ⁣ ➡️Playing the victim. [Believing I was “unlucky." Pretending I had no willpower to get what I wanted, because I didn’t know how.]⁣ ⁣ ➡️Surrounding myself with low vibe people. [You are the average of the 5 people you spend the most time with.]⁣ ⁣ ➡️Complaining about how shitty I felt TO NO END, but doing nothing for my mental/physical health. [Misery loves company, and I was creating a mile long list of reasons to attract more misery into my life.]⁣ ⁣ It took years to admit this to myself. My ego wanted to pretend I wasn’t getting in my own way. Unfortunately, protecting yourself from some sort of pain or failure is human nature.😔⁣ ⁣ Your ego wants to keep you safe. If you want to be successful at accomplishing ANY of the goals you’ve set for yourself, you need to learn to challenge that ego‼️⁣ ⁣ 👉🏻How did I go about improving these traits?⤵️⁣ ⁣ ✅Studying personal development practices got rid of my self sabotage habit. A lot of inner work, admitting my faults, reading, feeling, healing, and more. It won’t happen overnight.⁣ ⁣ ✅Studying the Law of Attraction. I realized I was in control, and that it was me that was responsible for everything that was manifesting in my life at all times. ⁣ ✅Cut those people off. I had to be okay with being alone for a while to find myself, heal myself, get to know myself & who I WANTED to be. ⁣ ⁣ ✅All these things helped me stop complaining and being so negative. Suddenly, talking nicely to myself and exercising & treating my body well became easy. It no longer felt like “ugh I have to do this” - I’d wake up grateful for the opportunity.⁣ ⁣ I’m telling you this because I want you to dig deeper. Could it be that MAYBE, it’s ~not~ your workout plan, your macros, or your “lack of motivation” that is keeping you from getting results? When was the last time you took inventory of your current mindset?🤔 ⁣ ⁣ 🌈What’s 1 [mindset] trait/habit you’re going to improve in 2020?👇🏻👇🏻

Buffalo Chicken Taquitos 🤩🤩🤩 ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️ Yep this is real and you aren’t dreaming... Makes 4 servings Per serving (2 taquitos) 1 Lean 1 ¼ condiments 2 fats – no additional fats are needed because of the cheese Ingredients: 1 Cup Shredded low fat Cheddar Cheese 1 Cup Shredded part-skim Mozzarella Cheese 1/2 Cup Grated Parmesan Cheese 12 ounces Shredded Cooked Chicken 1/4 Cup Franks Red Hot Sauce 1 Tbsp Melted Butter Directions: 1. Pre heat oven to 400 F. In a small bowl mix the hot sauce and butter together. Pour over the shredded chicken. Then mix until the chicken is well coated. Place the chicken into a baking dish and bake for 20 minutes, stirring half way. Let cool for 10 minutes before making the cheese shells. 2. In a large mixing bowl, mix the cheddar, mozzarella and parmesan cheeses. Divid the cheese mixture into 8 then make balls. Place onto a parchment paper lined baking sheet. Bake @ 400 F for 6-8 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown. 3. Let cool for 1- 2 minutes. Flip upside down, then place a few spoonfuls of the buffalo chicken on the edge of each shell. Tightly roll each one into a cigar shape. ( You need to do this quite quickly, before the cheese hardens ) Note: To reheat, Preheat oven to 350 F. Bake for 6-8 minutes.

Y u doing this to yourself - Tag a gym bud below😂👇 - You can lose fat with zero cardio. Yes, ZERO cardio - Doesn't mean you shouldn't do any for overall health, but it's not a mandate for fat loss. Let’s talk muscle building while losing body fat : Can you do it at the same time?? It is debatable but the answer is yes! BUT CONSISTENCY IS KEY! . . The key is to lift heavy, consume a steady amount of protein, and eating in a calorie deficit. (Does not need to be a huge deficit either) AND rather than focusing on calorie restriction, let’s focus on calorie moderation. Restrictions may feel like you’re trapped where moderation is a plan and a healthy way of living. - Also lifting heavy results in signaling from the body for muscle protein synthesis, the protein feeds the muscles, while the body burns fat for fuel. So go heavy AND don’t skimp on your protein! Be as consistent with it as possible! Questions you may have?🔽 . . . . So how much protein should you eat? - Start with 1 - 1.2 gram of protein per pound of body weight. As you know I have been out of the gym for 5 weeks and also been all over the map with my macros by today will be day 1 for me in tracking. I set my protein at 145g and my carbs and fats will fluctuate while I meet my calorie goal. WHO IS READY FOR A FRESH START!
