The countdown is on with just a week to go till our popular Christmas Market! Due to popular demand the Christmas Market has been extended to take place over three days – from Friday 22 to Sunday 24 November 2019. The event opens at 10.30am and closes at 4.00pm.
Parking is free. Disabled parking is available for those with access needs. Although we have worked hard to provide wheelchair access throughout the site some of our buildings remain inaccessible to wheelchair users. Please be aware that this event is very busy and although level access and ramps are in place, crowds can make these hard to see and use. Please take great care when visiting the site as there are areas of uneven ground which can be hazardous.
Dogs are welcome but must be on a lead or carried at all times. We do not recommend that you bring dogs to the Christmas Market as the site is very busy at this time. Dogs must not be left in vehicles.
£8 for adults (over 18s)
£free children aged 0-17 years
£free disabled people (plus a single helper)
Entry is free for Annual Members.
Tickets include admission to both the Museum and to the Christmas Market – stalls are situated in and around our collection of rescued rural buildings. Plan your visit by visiting our website |Link in Bio|
Reading up on the neurology of ADHD. Many have asked me why do I like learning esoteric subjects. I’m just curious about things and it’s the same way I treat my job, studies, and engineering projects.

One of my favorite things about my job is learning from all our incredible staff! .
Today I was working with the swim instructors from the Wang YMCA. They were assigned basic toys and a swim skill. Their job was to be creative in how they used a toy to teach swim skills to older and more proficient swimmers!
This team used toy boats 🚤 to help emphasize the switch in the wrists for #breaststroke!
Such a simple idea and so much fun!!! .

Let us not be confined to the imaginary limitations that we place upon ourselves.
As long as we are here on this earth and as long as we have breath we can still grow and change into the people we are meant to be or want to be.
Is there something you’ve always wanted to learn but told yourself you didn’t have time? Is there a skill you want to sharpen but thought you couldn’t get better?
Ditch the things holding you back and turn your focus to breaking it down into actionable steps.
Today I’m tossing out the false idea I’ve clung to that I don’t have the creativity to be good at taking pictures. Instead, I’m going to run to the truth that I have no limits. I am capable of honing in on this skill and craft.
What about you? Is there something you‘ve always is wanted to do but didn’t think you would be good enough or believed some other lie holding you back?
[Never ever forget your roots..]
..no matter where life takes you.
A sudden decision to attend my secondary school's reunion turned out to be an unexpected fun time.
This place. The place I've spent my teenage years growing up in sure does bring back find memories. It's heartwarming to visit the home that shaped part of who am I now.
The few hours spent in this place taught me another lesson. Create value for yourself and others around you wherever you are. Only the good things matter years from now. You either create memories, or waste your time. Your choice!!
A BIG shoutout to those graduated in 2003. You've been missed!!
Thank you, Time. Thank you, Life. And thank you, Universe.
This Children's Day, we asked parents what they want their children to be when they grow up.
Their answers will surprise you!
BYJU'S wishes everyone a very Happy Children’s Day!
