Quick Tip/ Advice / Whatever you wanna call it : When you are going heavy make sure you are mentally prepared rather than physically, Some might say Physically is important but that's secondary . . Reason, what if you are fully drained out but still have 2 heavy sets remaining ? Then you physical state is not as good as first set right? So just prepare yourself mentally before you go hard on these weights and control them with ease.. If not sure don't fcking do it or try some drop sets because your end goal as a Bodybuilder is lean muscle / size/ hypertrophy not just pushing weight like a powerlifter.. Have you ever been told this before? Doesn’t matter who said it but get up, walk away and don’t go back. • If your doctor, healthcare practitioner or your personal trainer begins a conversation by listing all the things you can’t or shouldn’t be doing - you need to find a new one. • There may be a period of time where your activity should be modified, varied or reduced but there are very few individual occasions where it should be stopped altogether, and this should be the last resort. • Goal setting means identifying activities that you currently struggle with and making plans to return to them. But it all starts with focusing on what your body can do, what movements feel good and finding the right help to achieve those goals.

yoooooo it’s LEG. DAY. so obviously that means i’m lifting heavy heavy 🧱 just 1 month ago i was squatting 245 as my 1 rep max. today i hit 245 for 3x4 🥳🤯 planned on just doing 3x3 but i knew i had more in the tank to hit a fourth rep so here we are! got a 300 squat coming soon... — the rest of the workout included accessory work, but still exercises that focus on simplicity and progressive overload...and what i have decided is the tri-set of death 🥵 it’s written below so give it a tri! (hahahaha lol) TRI SET ⏬: ☠️ smith machine pause squats x8-12 ☠️ barbell hip thrusts x8-12 ☠️ reverse barbell lunges x10 each leg ☠️ Repeat 2-4x (or until you can no longer walk...whichever comes first)

#WORKOUTWEDNESDAY . Absolutely destroyed a full body workout at the coolest gym in KC with a great buddy of mine. I haven’t put a live workout up all summer, so here you go: . 1️⃣ Heavy bench: 5x1, heavy drop-set x maximum reps 2️⃣ Heavy squat: 5x1-3 3️⃣ Heavy deadlift: 5x1-2 4️⃣ QUAD-SET: incline chest press, underhand lat-pulldowns, shoulder press, and hamstring curls: all 3 sets to failure. Can’t rest until all 4 exercises are done 5️⃣: QUAD-SET: skullcrushers, barbell curls, calfs raises (not videoed), and squats (not videoed): all 3 sets to failure. Can’t rest until all 4 exercises are done! . It was an incredible full-body circuit, and it only took about 90-100 minutes. . Let me know if you give it a shot! . Pro Tip: Listen to these videos with sound. Listen to how Bubs and I talk to each other. Having a workout partner who pushes you past your limits is huge for making positive progress. DON’T be the workout partner that lets everyone slack off and quit when it hurts. Motivate your partner and push them to their maximum capacity. . They may hate you in the moment, but when they reach their goal, they will thank you. . NEVER be outworked! . ✌🏼

Mr B(my client) ask me yesterday why am I taking a video of me doing a light weight whereas I usually take videos doing 200kgs and up? It’s not every week you will be at your strongest especially when u have lowered ur carbs a bit but however what I’m tryna show here is the refusal of doing anything less than 180kgs on my last 2 sets on my heavy leg days, It’s all about consistency even if u feel like sh# u have to pass at least 80%-90% of the test on ur bad days, keep the intensity high. Lotsa grinders today. 285 lbs supposedly 4x5 Ended up with 2x5, 1x4 and 1x3 I’m not upset about it, felt ok today. No pee accidents either. And I really did give it 💯 and had to bail on the last set. Best exercises for growing your legs? - Obviously this is a matter of opinion, different exercises are gonna feel better for different people, no matter which body part you’re working, but if I could only choose a couple, they’d be: —————————— • heavy squats - 5x5 • RDL’s —————————— I’m not giving the exact amount of sets n reps for RDL’s because it depends on how you want to approach it. Ultimas 3 repeticiones de 10, de mi 3er set hoy. Mi entrenamiento decía que disminuyera las repeticiones con los sets (Set 1=10, set 2=8-10, set 3=8-6). Pero a veces toca decir "Vamos al límite". Hay ejercicios y tiempos donde tienes que dar más de lo que dice tu papel, tu app, tu programa, siempre y cuando no lo hagas a lo tonto. SQUATS!!! My focus has always been strength!! (apart from last year when I was growing my lil girly🤰🏼).. but before pregnancy and now my mind is always on increasing the numbers!! ⬆️ I want by body to be the strongest it can be not just physically but mentally too! I always lift the heaviest my body is capable of lifting and progress by increasing! Since having my daughter I had struggled with back squats as my hips & pelvis didn’t feel the same post baby! so I avoided them as back loading just didn’t feel right!!! All I did was front squats,I then realised avoiding them wasn’t getting me any closer to my goals! I started light and got my nervous system used to back squats again! & on Saturday squatted the heavier end of pre pregnancy 90k ....100k I’m defo on my way! 💯 take your time to familiarise yourself with your postpartum body, if you’ve done it before you will do it again! I promise! I had so many negative comments saying my body wouldn’t be the same after having a baby! They were right! It’s better, it’s stronger, and I grew a Human! This is a question I get ALL the time. — Personally I don’t use a belt unless I’m working heavy percentages of my 1RM (approximately <80%) or doing high volume work with relatively high reps. — But what does the research say? Does it really improve your performance? 5x140kg (90%)!😤🙏🏻 PR og en milepæl for mig😭. . Har længe haft et delmål, der lød på at kunne squatte 140 for 5 reps, og det lykkedes for ikke bare ét men to sæt i dag!🙏🏻. . Havde overvejet, om dette skulle blive den sidste 5'er i denne omgang, men når vægten bevæger sig så pænt, må der nærmest være til i hvert fald 2,5kg mere😅🤞🏻. ➡️ Ét skridt tættere på målet om de 180🚂💨

Cant build a house with no foundation. Bulking is in full flow, and the workouts are staying simple with a 3 day training week, only with compound movements and hitting the squats 3 times a week. Seeing yourself getting stronger is alot more motivating than reading your weight on a scale. 200kgx6 on an AMRAP!!! This is 2 reps up on my previous best at this weight and this came after a 185kgx5 so I feel like I could add another rep or two if I was totally fresh! Both squat variations are extremely useful in building strength, adding muscle and developing power for athletic activities . There are differences in mechanics that make different muscle groups activate slightly differently in each version of the squat. The overall muscle recruitment is very similar though . Well.it happen! Finally got into a suit, welcome back to the dark side. It's been 5yrs since my last equipped meet (July 2014 NAPF, Virgin Islands). Pretty good training session for not having it on for so long. Started with 235kg/507lb x5 trying to set the suit. Then went 285kg/628lb x4 335kg/738lb x3 and 375kg/826lb x2 video.
