Bean a while since I shared a recipe, so here’s how I make my iced latte. Might be useful again during these hot days ☀️ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ What you need: ice cubes, your favourite coffee, milk of your choice, sweetener (optional) and the sun ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ How you make it: ☕️ First step is making your espresso or small amount of your favourite coffee (I use about 50 ml of coffee for my iced latte). Leave to cool for a bit, otherwise your ice is going to melt way too fast. You can also put it in the freezer or fridge for a couple minutes to speed up the cooling. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ❄️ In the meantime, fill the glass that you are going to use with ice cubes. Then add the ice cubes to a blender and blend for a couple of minutes until you get a mix of crushed ice with some big chunks. Add the ice to the glass. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀🥛 Then add milk of your choice (about 2/3 of the glass). Pour over your (cooled) coffee and add sweetener if desired. The Ultimate Breaky Bap 🔥 Serves 4 INGREDIENTS: For the scrambled tofu: -Block of firm tofu pressed and crumbled in a bowl -1 lemon (juice) -2 Tbs Nooch -1/2 tsp turmeric -1/2 tsp paprika -1 tsp Dijon mustard -1/2 tsp garlic powder -salt & pepper For the hummus: -1 can chick peas drained and rinsed -1 lemon (juice) -1 tsp tahini (hulled) -1/4 cup water -1 garlic clove (or two roasted) -salt & pepper -1/2 a handful of sesame seeds and ground up nuts For the rest: -4 baps -1 capsicum cut into strips -2 Medium tomatoes cut into chunks -1 bag mesclun salad leaves -1 avo sliced Directions: 1. Place all hummus ingredients (except the sesame seeds and nuts) in a blender and blend until smooth. . 2. Place all tofu ingredients in a bowl and mix with a fork, then heat a frying pan on medium heat and stir-fry your tofu mixture for 4-5 minutes until it’s heated all the way through. Add splashes of water so it doesn’t burn or a tiny bit of olive oil. . 3. In another frying pan on medium heat sauté your tomatoes and capsicum strips with salt and pepper and a dash of either water or olive oil. Sauté until they are all quite softish (4-5 minutes). . 4. Cut your baps in half and pop them until the grill for 1 minute (keep an eye on them so they don’t burn). . 5. Assemble your baps, I like to put: Sliced avo then mesclun, tofu scramble, sautéed caps and tomatoes and then a thick layer of hummus on the top sprinkled with the seeds and nuts. I think I’ll call this fiesta chicken bc it was literally like a party in my mouth! I used precooked grilled chicken, and some peppers/onions/tomatoes that i’d sautéed prior, so I just combined everything and then tah dahhh! The whole process took me less than 10 minutes, so I’ll definitely be enjoying it again this week 💃🏽

Chocolate Chip Blender Banana Bread🍌 This Bread is SERIOUSLY DELIGHTFUL! By @cleanfoodcrush The ingredients, and method could not be simpler, which makes this an excellent breakfast option. Add all of your ingredients to the blender, bake it up while you're showering...you'll then be beckoned back into your kitchen by a heavenly aroma, and your family will think you're a professional Baker with superhuman capabilities! Rachel's Notes: Try adding 1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon to the batter if you love cinnamon. Also, try adding 1/2 teaspoon of pure vanilla bean extract for another flavor level. Use any dark chocolate chips of your choice: the higher cacao percentage, the better! I really think mini chips work best for breads because they don't overpower. If you're looking to keep sugars lower; try Lily's brand chocolate that is sweetened with stevia. Chopped walnuts or pecans would also be a fabulous mix-in if nuts are your thing. makes 12 servings Ingredients: 2 cups old fashioned rolled oats 1 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp sea salt 3 medium, very ripe bananas 1/4 cup raw honey or pure maple syrup 2 large eggs, at room temperature 2 Tbsps melted ghee, clarified butter, or unrefined coconut oil 1/4 cup mini dark chocolate chips Instructions: Preheat your oven to 350 degrees f. and line an 8x4 inch loaf pan with parchment paper. Place the oats and baking soda in a blender, and process until flour-like consistency. Add in the remaining ingredients, except for the chocolate chips, and pulse for about a minute more. I like to stop halfway and scrape down the sides of the blender with a rubber spatula. Stir in the chocolate chips, then pour the mixture into your prepared loaf pan. If you want to, you can sprinkle a few more chocolate chips on top. I also set 1/2 of a sliced banana on top of the bread as shown to make it look pretty, but this step is totally optional. If there's something that I love in this life is hosting and having people over, seriously...few things light me up more 😍🥂 I used to make super complicated things and never get to enjoy the company of my guests, so I created systems 😂 to be able to host AND hang out. Here are my tips to hosting a brunch 👇🏻. . 🌟Make some form of a salad, no need to worry about its temperature. . 🌟Make little bite sized appetizers that can be eaten room temp like crostini or bruschetta. . 🌟Get big pitchers to fill with water and maybe another drink to put at the table, that way people can get it themselves. Equally, have coffee ready and set the cream/sugar etc at the table. . 🌟Make dishes that can be done ahead, reheated and self serving like this goat cheese frittata 😍. . . R͓̽e͓̽c͓̽i͓̽p͓̽e͓̽ ➕1 japanese sweet potato (cubed and generously seasoned with paprika, harissa, salt, pepper and a bit of hot sauce, also add a tiny dash of cinnamon ). ➕1/2 red onion (chopped). ➕1 zucchini (chopped). ➕10-12 mini heirloom tomatoes (halved). ➕6 eggs (very well whisked). ➕2 tbsp chopped scallions. ➕crumbled goat cheese to taste. 🍃sautée the Japanese sweet potatoes with avocado oil for 6-7 min.🍃 add the onion and sautée another 5 min. 🍃 add the zucchini and sautée for 5 min. 🍃 place in a baking dish, add the eggs and scallions. 🍃add the cherry tomatoes on top, seed side up to avoid the frittata getting watery. How to Prepare Baked Salmon Purchase a salmon fillet with or without the skin on. If intact, I find it easier to remove the skin once fully cooked. Remove any remaining tiny bones, then clean and dry the surface. Line a sheet pan with foil and then lightly grease with oil. • breakfast porridge • porridge is such a quick and easy option for babies and their parents especially if you have a morning rush! You can give your little one so many different flavours by adding different fruits and even veg into their morning oats: 1️⃣ porridge bowl topped with chopped raspberries , chopped blueberries, peanut butter, chia seeds and desiccated coconut🥥 2️⃣ porridge topped with full fat greek yoghurt, chopped raspberries and milled seeds 3️⃣ usual porridge oats mixed with chopped banana, topped with peanut butter and a side of banana fingers🍌 - this is one of Emilia’s favourites! 4️⃣ I tried emilia with @whatmummymakes recipe for carrot cake porridge and she loved it!🥕 So if you feel your baby could do with quick veggie fix this is such a good option and so quick to make!(unfortunately don’t have a picture) There are so many different flavours you can add to your baby’s porridge bowl or even your own. The combinations are endless! All of these variations are suitable from 6months however I would suggest with younger babies/newly weaned babies instead of chopping the fruit maybe try mashing or blending it first and then mixing into the oats. Yesterday I took the day off Instagram. I posted about a yogurt and a fig. I lifted some weights. I did some Crossfit. I got some groceries. I took a nap in the middle of the afternoon. Salsa Chicken. If you’re someone with a large appetite and still wanting something low calorie, this is a great meal for you. It’s a large volume of food for not many calories. @themealprepmanual⁣ ⁣ INGREDIENTS ⁣ 2lbs chicken breast ⁣ 14oz can chicken broth ⁣ 2 cups salsa ⁣ 2 15oz cans black beans ⁣ 1 tbsp (8g) cumin ⁣ 1/4 cup (28g) jack cheese ⁣ 3 medium (450g) bell peppers⁣ 1 medium (200g) onion⁣ 2 tbsp olive oil⁣ Cilantro ⁣ ⁣ PREP⁣ 1. Put the chicken and broth in a crockpot. Cook on low for 5-7 hours of high for less. ⁣ 2. Remove the chicken from crockpot when finished cooking and shred. Add salsa and mix. Season to taste. ⁣ 3. Cut onion and peppers into strips. Sauté in oil until soft. ⁣ 4. Add black beans to a pot. Bring to a light boil and mash the beans into a paste. Add oil if necessary. Cook until the liquid has reduced (probably 8-10 minutes). Add cumin, salt and pepper to taste. ⁣ 5. Divide your ingredients 5 ways. Top the beans with a little bit of jack cheese. ⁣ 6. Nutrition information for each dish: 510 CALS. 43g C | 53g C | 14g F⁣ ⁣ For the weight loss side omitted the beans and cheese and added an extra pepper. Someone recently commented on one of my pictures and said “All you do is make avocado toast. Make some real food.” I don’t know what’s not “real” about avocado toast, but I’m sorry to say I’m not gonna stop — and I’m not actually all that sorry 😉. Today’s deliciousness is topped with labneh, mashed avocado, lemon, za’atar, and flake salt. Avocado Toast is trendy, yes. People make fun of millennials for eating it, so much so that they claim we go broke over it. It’s true that avocados can be expensive, especially if you don’t live in California like me, and some places charge an absurd amount for toast at their restaurants — that can’t be ignored. But the reason I eat so much avocado toast isn’t because it’s the “cool thing to do.” It’s a good breakfast to make when you don’t have that much time to cook in the morning. If you choose the right type of bread, you’re getting whole grains and healthy fat from the avocado, and that helps me stay satiated in the morning. Top that off with an egg or some nuts and seeds, and then you’ve got an additional, quick protein source. Yay for balanced breakfasts that don’t take an hour to prepare ✨ Oh, and let’s not forget it tastes really frickin’ good and can be modified with lots of different additions and flavors. So, in conclusion, avocado toast forever and forever 🥑 💘

If putting salmon on toast is wrong, I don’t want to be right 😜 Leftover salmon layered on a thick slice of sourdough with sautéed kale, mashed avocado, and sautéed mushrooms 😌 An easy lunch + great way to use some leftovers!
