Trucos basicos para tener éxito en una DMA 💥 1. Comer 5 veces al día: las tres comidas principales (desayuno, comida y cena) y dos snacks (uno a media mañana y otro a media tarde). 2. Comer cada 2, 3 o 4 horas: el tiempo mínimo entre una comida y la otra tiene que ser de 2 horas, mientras el tiempo máximo tiene que ser de 4 horas. Evidentemente, mientras estás durmiendo esta regla no se aplica. 3. Desayunar en la primera media hora tras despertar: no sólo NO puedes saltarte el desayuno, sino que tienes que desayunar en la primera media hora tras haberte despertado, cada día. Esto permite que tu metabolismo se active inmediatamente. Si, por ejemplo, te despiertas a las 7:00h a las 7:30h, cómo tarde, tienes que desayunar. 4. Seguir el plan al menos 4 semanas: reparar el metabolismo no es cosa de un día, para hacerlo nuestro cuerpo necesita al menos 28 días. Es importante no interrumpir el plan, incluso si has llegado a tu peso antes de terminar el primer ciclo. A partir del primer ciclo puedes seguir todo el tiempo que lo desees hasta llegar a tu peso. 5. It’s been a very carb-heavy day today. I had 2 slices of toast for breakfast, 2 petit pains and salad for lunch and now this spicy pasta for dinner. I had a great gym sesh this afternoon (pre-pasta) and it may be down to all the carbs! I really hate eating out during the week so I almost always meal prep. This is an old meal prep from idk when but it was good, simple, and cheap!! (Please don’t believe everything you hear. A plant based diet is not more expensive) 🤥 It’s actually a lot cheaper. I spend around 45$ a week for groceries and that normally holds me for the entire week, with only a few purchases. Here I cut up some sweet potatoes and roasted them with black pepper, salt, and a little cumin. I also cut up left over veggies because I hate wasting them, roasted those as well with Trader Joe’s basic seasoning salt (red pepper, orange, squash).Sautéed some kale with lemon and sea salt. Added that fresh avacado top top it off..... boom!! KETO ASIAN SHRIMP ZUCCHINI NOODLES - -- Via @healthyfitnessmeals 💗💗 - ⁣⁣ INGREDIENTS 1 lb Jumbo Shrimp shelled and deveined 2 Tbsp Olive Oil divided 2 Garlic Cloves minced 1 Tsp Minced Fresh Ginger 1/2 Tsp Chili Flakes or to taste 1 Yellow Bell Pepper thinly sliced 2 Large Carrots spiralized 2 Large Zucchini spiralized 1 Tbsp Sesame seeds to garnish 1 Large White Onion sliced Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste . Sauce ingredients: 1/2 Cup Chicken or Vegetable Broth 1/4 Cup Hoisin Sauce 2 Tbsp coconut aminos - DIRECTIONS In a small bowl, whisk together the sauce ingredients until well combined. Set aside. Heat oil in a large sauté pan or wok over medium heat. Add the garlic, ginger and chili flakes and cook for 2 minutes, stirring constantly. Add in the shrimp and cook, stirring constantly, until cooked through and pink, about 3 minutes. Season the shrimp with sea salt and pepper and set aside on a plate. Add the remaining 1 Tablespoon of olive oil to the pan, then add the bell peppers, carrots, and onions. Cook, stirring constantly, for 3 to 4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp. Eating healthy in the office can feel difficult...but it doesn’t have to be. I’m lucky that I have a small kitchenette in my office - all I need is one stove element, a frying pan, and some space to cut up some veggies. I made a quicky version of my chickpea curry, and now have lunch for the next few days. Plus, it made the office smell amazing (and people were genuinely shocked that someone was actually using the kitchen!) The other benefits? Cooking can be such a social activity. I always end up chatting to my colleagues as they wander into the kitchen for coffee, so it’s a great chance to catch-up with people I wouldn’t normally speak to throughout the day. Plus, because people know I’m vegan, they are always interested in what I’m cooking! I love introducing people to new flavours, ideas, and recipes that are easy and healthy. I love showing people how easy and delicious (and healthy! And colourful! The star of this dish has got to be the mango, avocado, cucumber & kale salad. It's SO delicious and complemented the chicken really nicely. It also goes really well with fish, or even just as it is! I'd highly recommend for you to try it out! 👇 Ingredients (for one serving) • A large handful of kale, washed • Half a small avocado, cubed • Diced cucumber • 1/4 mango, cubed • A generous squeeze of lime juice • 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar • 1 tsp olive oil Method: 1) Wash the kale in cold water under a sieve and pat dry with kitchen roll. 2) Place kale into a bowl and add apple cider vinegar, lime juice and olive oil. Let's talk about the word "healthy" for a minute. I won't lie.. it's a loaded word for a lot of people.. healthy has turned into "diet" "less cal" "low carb" "Clean (🤷🏻‍♀️ that means)" or "fat free". . Instead of using it to describe a particular food. Let's use it to describe our attitudes and behaviors: 🎂Healthy can be eating the regular slice of cake without another thought. 🥦Healthy can be adding extra fiber or protein to a dish because you know that is what makes you feel good. 🍔Healthy can be driving through McDonalds and getting the kids Happy Meals because they are starving and you don't have time to go home and cook. 😴Healthy can be making the choice to do something good for yourself in the short OR the long-term (this can include taking a nap OR deciding to fit a workout in). . ✨✨So here is my Monday advice...if you want it or not😜: . 1️⃣Stop telling people they should eat a certain way because it works for you. 2️⃣Stop listening to people tell you to eat a certain way because it "works" for them. We all have our own versions of health and happiness. . 👉👉Find what works for you and your family and go for it, even if it isn't the perfect fit for someone else.

Vegetables steamed for two mins and then stir fried . Pan fried tofu with just chilli powder salt lemon and a spoon of rice flour. The highlight was the seasoning 😀sterdays left over seasoning used for ivy gourd. Dry roast three dry chilli two spoons of coriander seeds, to the same pan add some 20 peanuts and roast few mins. Peel the skin and blow them. First grind the chilli coriander seeds slightly coarse then add dry grated coconut and peanuts (coarse )and a pinch of salt . Lezzz talk mental health! So growing up I was quite an introvert, I was known as being the reticent person of any group. I eventually came out of my shell and started to find I had a voice (now I don’t ever shutup!🤣) I then started to battle with my appearance where I adapted quite an unhealthy relationship with food and I suppose lost all forms of self control. This is where it then evoked self harm, from self harm to anxiety. I never understood what anxiety was until I saw myself first hand have panic attacks whenever I used to go into a busy restaurant, or the idea of going to pay for something myself at a shop or the idea of travelling somewhere alone. I started to feel alienated and as if it was going to be an endless battle. My message here is I know it sounds cliche but things DO get better❤️ one of my favourite quotes that I read in my book - “Be strong, because things will get better. It may be stormy now but it never rains forever”. SoOOoO remind yourself to be proud of how hard you’re trying also, you have grown and are still continuing to grow. I’m a strong believer in the defeats you encounter through life are necessary so you get to understand the person you are and how you can rise from it. It’s essential to surround yourself with those who make you feel aliiiiiive🌞 those who carry such an energy that it awakes yo souuul. Each week set aside something you need to do or something you’ve always wanted to do but put off! Whether it be cleaning your room or taking up a new hobby or camping in the Lake District ooooor learning a new language! You are capable of wonderful amazing things and never forget that❤️✨ Happyyyyyyy Monday!

If Sunday is your brunch day or you just eat brunch food for lunch everyday like me 😏 I definitely recommend checking out the new lovely café @simple_food_coffee 🙌🏼 . Where I of course had the eggs & avocado, which were seriously good! & not just in taste, in presentation too! With the thickest crunchy sourdough toast topped with a massive amount of chilli, lemon & seeded smashed avo, perfectly poached eggs & a tasty side salad! 🥑 Because many people don’t realise this dish really can be bad! (Soggy toast is the worst!) and it’s actually hard to find it done perfectly but I know this is going to be my new go to local spot! 🥑 . And not only are they spot on with their eggs & avo I loved that you can add a mug of their delicious homemade soup of the day to any dish as soup being my second fave winter lunch I was stuck for choice so if you don’t want to go for a big bowl & roll you can have them both! 🙌🏼🍵 . The sautéed mushrooms & eggs were lovely too so I was told but my mum they served an exceptionally good coffee!! (I’m not a coffee drinker) ☕️ . Trained quads & hammmiess today 💪🏻 soOoooo I’m incorporating high-intensity cardio intervals at the end of my sessions now twice a week to make that fat criiiii. My circuit involved - burpees, mountain climbers, box jumps, push ups, jump squats then on the running machine for 30 seconds on sprints for 5 rounds!! Came out like a sweaaaty gremlin 😂💪🏻

SWEAAAATY SWEAAAAATYYY!!! I must admit I really do enjoy cycling especially when going out with my dad who is an avid cyclist. I’m allllll for activities that increase your cardiovascular fitness, cycling will build muscle, especially the quads, glutes and calf muscles (yaas to gains) as well as help weight loss! Cycling alsoOOo builds stamina and overall physical endurance which is amaaazing. The thing I looove about cycling also is that you’re creating a fresh perspective by seeing your local surroundings in a different light by discovering new routes! Exercising as a whole for me really does help to alleviate stress which is even moooore of a bonus! Get outsiiiiide and see your surroundings!! 🌱❤️

Happy Monday! Don’t mind me stretching my lower body✨🤙🏻✌🏻 so I have sciatica which comes and goes... sciatica is the longest nerve in your body which runs from your spinal cord down to your feet. Ever since my injury I’ve ensured to incorporate stretching into my routine whether it be before or after the gym or just on my rest day from the gym. I’ve decided to take up Pilates/Yoga where I’ve really learnt a whole lot about functional anatomy. Doing these stretches has really helped create space in the spine to relieve pressure on the sciatic nerve ✨ stretching is amaaaazing as it improves flexibility, increases your range of motion, improves your posture and let’s not forget it’s a great 5-10 minutes to clear your mind to relaaax! Im off to train my glutes where I will activate them for 5-8 minutes! Who even needs the gym when you have a dog?🤣 get outside and pick up your doggo or the nearest doggo!! (Ensure to maybe ask the owners before hand!!) sometimes it’s great to take a break from the vicinity of the gym. Switch the mundane running machine to running outside! Get outside into the beauty of nature! ❤️🌱🌻

Just got back from training le glutes n hammmmies 🤙🏻 that entailed some barbel squats, RDL’s, leg curls, goblet squats, glute ham raises and some hip thrusts using the leg extension machine! 🤙🏻 feeeelin gooooood

That good good Sunday supper: sometimes with pasta, sometimes with potatoes, and (almost) always with salmon 💁🏼‍♀️🥰. This grilled garlic honey chipotle salmon recipe is my go-to when I’m craving something sweet + spicy. And if you let it cook an extra minute or two, you get those good good crispy edges, too 🔥👌🏻. - whatsonmyplate: grilled honey garlic chipotle salmon: in a bowl, combine 1 tbsp. honey (I used manuka), 1/4 tsp. chipotle chili powder, 1 tbsp. melted ghee or butter, a pinch or salt + a pinch of pepper; spread evenly over two 4-6 oz. salmon filets (you can easily double this to serve four) 2) heat grill for ~5 minutes; brush salmon with melted ghee or avocado oil; grill on each side for 4-5 minutes, or until slightly brown and crispy 👌🏻 •• parmesan & garlic butter hasselback potato, fanned (recipe in a previous post) •• grilled asparagus. - I got my tree up yesterday (!) and the apartment is feeling pretty magical tonight ✨🎄.
