Happy Monday 😪 Get up and work 💪🏽!! I usually don’t post this late but for the first time in the year I’ve been lifting I FAILED !!! Yes I failed at a 245 squat which was super disappointing but such a learning moment. I’m proud of myself because a couple months ago shoot just last month ago when I didn’t hit my weight I literally would walk away from the bar & give up! But not this time I fought for that weight to go up. I didn’t hit 245 but I will next time. My biggest issue is that I’m scared of the weight but today I realized there’s nothing to be afraid of because no matter what each failure will lead to a victory 💪🏽 !! Gettin back to it, finally starting to feel my nerve healing. Nerve damage is no joke, it also takes a long time to heal. It’s amazing how today can be seen as “just another Monday.” When in reality, you can make today any day that you want it to be. It’s my two-week wedding anniversary. It’s my first whole day that I get to spend with my husband since he’s been back on duty at the station for the past week. It’s the last day of eating meat and processed foods for me before I start my elimination diet and liver cleanse for the next 10 days. It’s a day that I chose to live to the fullest, regardless of the actual day of the week- half of the Time I am just working my life away and I don’t ever wait for Monday to start or count down the days until Friday- like 90% of society. YOU CAN CHOOSE WHAT TODAY IS,TOO. Whatever the hell you want to make today. The first day of your new diet? The first day that you go back to the gym? The first time that you call your mom in years? The first time that you put your foot down and walk out on an abusive relationship? The anniversary of staying on your new diet for a week, month, or year? The day that you decide to enroll in school again? Whatever it is that you truly want- GO FOR IT. You are never promised tomorrow, or next week, or next month. Stop living life always waiting because I promise you will never “feel ready”...

#mondaymotivation Train smart and optimize your workouts! We don’t go to the gym every day just to lift heavy objects (not always at least), but we enter with a plan, we execute, and leave knowing we did everything in our power to be better. As you know I use to change completely my training in the last weeks of prep, and that obviously includes legs training. In these last eight weeks I stop focusing on my quads, for example, to bring up everything else: adductors, abductors, hamstrings, glutes, calves. I posted today’s workout on my stories (and highlights) for you to see how it looks like. Remember to study and write down everything you do, try new stuff, make new plans, improve and have fun! - - - #mondaymotivation Entrenen inteligentemente y optimicen sus entrenamientos! No vamos al gimnasio todos los días solo a levantar cosas pesadas (al menos no siempre), sino que entramos con un plan, lo ejecutamos, y nos vamos sabiendo que hicimos todo lo posible para ser mejores. Como saben suelo cambiar mucho mis entrenamientos cuando estoy en las últimas semanas antes de un torneo, y eso incluye también al día de piernas. Since I’ve been enjoying getting outside for some extra exercise on the weekends AJ & I have picked up the hobby of hiking! Does anyone know of some good spots to hit up in the north shore area?! LMK⤵️ Weekends used to be where I ate and drank what I wanted. It was my reward after completing a week of exercise & routine meals.. Balancing out my lifestyle has helped me tremendously and now I want to get out, explore, and increase my HR every day!! Exercise is NOT a chore. The sooner you can shift your mindset from that, I promise, the happier you’ll become 🤗
