Happy Tuesday! I’ve added yet another new move - the #straddledeadlift - to my routine- this time to my #legs workout. This tweak on the standard #deadlift increases the range of motion since you’re lifting from an elevated surface. The hips and #glutes have to work harder to complete the movement. I show both side and front view in this clip so you can see proper form. Almost ✌🏻 weeks in. Squatting is slowly getting better. I have range of motion, just gotta work on the “doesn’t feel too good” part 🤣 Step ups are 👌🏻 so far. Next week I’ll test out the 20” box 😏. Back is my favorite but I don't know why because I realize pullups are hard and so are rows and lat pull.... so maybe I need to get a new favorite. Like stretching. Stretching should just be my new favorite. I did these workouts in a superset form but if that isn't working for you just pick and choose what you want. They're all great back builders. 1️⃣ Lat pull down 2️⃣ pullups 3️⃣ 1 arm db row 4️⃣ back extension 5️⃣ Face pulls 6️⃣ hanging leg raise 1️⃣ retract and depress shoulder blades before pulling. Lean back but don't swing or use momentum. 4️⃣ Don't hyperextend the back. Keep the tension by coming up to nuetral and then back down. 6️⃣ Take the hip flexors out of this movement as much as possible. This can quickly turn into a hip flexor workout. Really mentally make the abs do the work. My focus is still fitness & personal growth - but by including new tools & exploring new methods while achieving those goals. Behind every product showcase or review goes hours of my own research because I can’t have the burden of sharing lies on my conscience. I am happy to answer any questions you have about any product - benefits, why I chose it, after-effects, side effects (skin, digestion etc) - this will help me learn more about the product & update my review on it. . I have been on the other side for 2+ years.. watching beautiful fit athletes hold a protein shake jar (example) close to their chiseled abs swearing results by it .. but in my opinion 99% of it has turned out to be lies & $-driven. I know this because when I researched on it.. I found darkness. And I hated the feeling of losing trust in my most favorite faces on social media. . Endorsing a harmful product is worse than showing an incorrect exercise form, because the latter can still heal but the former will only show its negative impact in the long run. Be it protein shakes, bars, supplements, weighing scale or even honey - I am going to call out clearly if I actually use it in my day to day life or if I endorse it as a good option for someone who is interested in using it.
