Motivation Monday Pictured here are my two beautiful sisters and our treasured niece. I was at the heaviest Iโ€™ve ever been in this photo yet I was still happy as Larry to be with my girls. It was a surprise visit and they thought I had come to announce my pregnancy ๐Ÿคฐ NOT Always trying to be the role model Iโ€™m embarked on this health journey to show them the importance of looking after your body and mind. Did you ever struggle to stay motivated to workout? This is a common problem which many of us face. It is one of the reasons why many people find a workout partner. I can recall the times when I wished I had a workout partner. I thought about some of the benefits of having a partner. I thought about how I would be working out with someone who shares similar goals. Having a partner, we can help each other stay motivated to workout on days when we did not feel like exercising. We could give each other the support we need and cheer each other on when we achieve small goals. It would make the workouts more fun and help the time pass. Unfortunately having a partner did not work out for me as well as it worked out for others. My biggest challenge was finding a reliable workout partner. Some had more excuses than they were committed. They didnโ€™t want it as bad as I did. They started slowing me down and standing me up on the workouts. It caused me to stop relying on having a partner and working out alone. During my experiences, I learned that you got to be strong to workout alone. This can be challenging for people who have a hard time staying motivated. I wasnโ€™t always in this shape, but Iโ€™m proud to say I worked my Ass off for it and it makes me proud! . Iโ€™ve always struggled with my weight and it was time to change something. Especially when I hit my MAX Weight of 175. Yea.... itโ€™s real. (Iโ€™m just great with my Clothes ๐Ÿ˜Š .) . I gained 50 pounds after falling in Love, moving to Miami & opening my Shop @hisandhersparlour. . It wasnโ€™t just the weight & how I felt in my skin, It was my Mental state.
