*Yes....ANOTHER health related post* I’d suggest you scroll now 🙌🏾 In life, we live to learn... We often experience specific scenarios that gives us a taste of what’s to come.
The best decision that I have ever made was that I paid attention to the signs...I still do.
I made the choice to not ignore the warning signs or wait until I experienced a health scare to change my habits.
Was or is it easy??? Heck nah!! But I feel much better for it.
Now, I’m a certified personal trainer...amongst other things...but I haven’t practiced it in awhile....but I LOVE sharing insight.
Only you can stop you...trust me.
Finally, we get to the whip boy for all and sundry, the most misunderstood carbohydrates!
Let us start with some basic bio info- The name carbohydrate is derived from the elements that make up its molecular structure: carbon, hydrogen, and oxygen (ate). Starch, sugar, and fiber are the most common carbohydrates found in food.
Carbohydrates get negative attention for causing weight gain, in reality though, they are the primary source of energy for our body. Carbohydrates are broken down by the body into glucose, which is used for energy. It fuels the nervous system, prevents protein from being used as an energy source, enables fat metabolism and most importantly has a massive influence on our mood, memory etc.
One of the reasons carbohydrates often get their bad rep is because several high-calorie, super-processed foods (such as baked goods) are perceived to contain a considerably higher amount of them. Well, the actual reason is very different (yes, we will be addressing it real soon!) The bottom line is, the yummiest food is obviously carbs, so why would you want to stay away?

#funfact .... 70% of the human brain is water, which is why you have a headache when you’re HUNGOVER! As in... alcohol can dehydrate the body, and when it does, “the brain can temporarily contract or shrink from fluid loss. This mechanism causes the brain to pull away from the skull, causing pain and resulting in a dehydration headache.” 🤯 *clears throat* .... Let’s all HYDRATE and educate daily 🤩

Training - Every day! Cardio and weights, however ZERO leg sessions, yup that’s right! The goal is to bring my legs in leaner, without losing muscle mass. My body easily maintains its muscle so not training legs for a little bit won’t hurt 🔥
And today is our first full day of classes at @bodyfit_hamiltonnth and it’s been an amazing day! Though I do need to learn to project my voice without straining my vocal chords 🙄 or I will have no voice..
Anyway I’m feeling super greatful for everything and everyone in my life 💕

Got bagels on my mind 💭🥯 trained glutes today amongst the fire alarms🤣 managed to increase my glute bridge weight too yay🤩 I am always able to train so much better on the weekends, I have more energy and time👏🏼 -
