It is never ok to imply to a woman that she isn’t beautiful, sexy or feminine because she doesn’t meet your personal body type preference. ⁣ ⁣ I’ve been confident in my skin for quite some time now however it changes, nothing related to size. I’m mentally in a place where I don’t study it daily, or think about it 24/7 anymore. I have disconnected my worth from it, my focus is on health, performance and loving it in this moment. Tough in today’s society, and can change instantly with one remark if you are sensitive. I am aware I’m in a “privileged” bracket of society...⁣ ⁣ That does not justify skinny shaming, lifestyle shaming, or body bashing of any kind. It really can bring you so easily back down to square one. Before remarks are made like a “bag of bones” or “needs a good feed” - 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐩, 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤. Before you suggest they “don’t need the biscuit” or “should go for a run with you” - 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐩, 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤. ⁣ ⁣ #RealTalk - this injury has been a rollercoaster ride of anxiety that affected my appetite. I’m getting more equipped every day to recovery, just took time. I’m now at the lower end of two weights I fluctuate between. I am energetic, healthy and still feel good🙋‍♀️. But a remark this week did knock me quite hard (skinny related), I am human. My personal goal was to fluctuate back up now to protect my hormone health & cycle which is not long back. For optimal hormonal health women need a certain level of fat. I was just going to quietly work on these goals but I’m happy to share, if it inspires a more positive way of thinking about physical change, or how you remark on other bodies. 🎀⁣ At the end of the day - come back to GAINING HEALTH.⁣ Do not strive for “body goals”. Please. Search for health & happiness goals.⁣ ⁣ Our bodies are CONSTANTLY changing. If you place worth in them your body image rollercoaster will never end.⁣ Create HEALTH GOALS. Don’t body bash. Be kind. Eat kale & pie. Exercise & be a potato. Rant over. Goals shared. Mini life update complete. 🖖👅💋⁣ ⁣ Let’s stop comparing women to each other, and 𝘴𝘶𝘱𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘵 each other, own your story. 💕⁣ ⁣ Ps. FACTS FRIDAY // 7 Things I wish I knew when I started lifting⁣ ⁣ When starting out with chasing any fitness goal there are going to be unknown factors. Things that confuse you and lots of contradicting info.⁣ ⁣ I’m here to clear some shit up for you 🎯⁣ ⁣ The truth is, when I started out, I was doing most things wrong and I went through a LONG trial and error process to get to where I’m at now.⁣ ⁣ I thought taking supplements and training heavy was the only way to get jacked.. ❌⁣ ⁣ Here are 7 things I wish I knew when I started my fitness journey:⁣ ⁣ 1️⃣ Focus on yourself not others.⁣ ⁣ 2️⃣ Any progress is progress, not just the weight on the scale and how you look at that moment.⁣ ⁣ 3️⃣ Lift weights with good form. Build the foundations.⁣ ⁣ 4️⃣ Eat enough protein daily (at least 1g/lb bodyweight).⁣ ⁣ 5️⃣ Supplements alone won’t do 💩. Salivate. 💦⁣ ⁣ A very merry Friday ❤️ I promised you a recipe Saturday morning but you voted for a breakfast recipe first and what good is an overnight oats recipe in the morning? Hop to the kitchen, take just 10 mins to prep this - and you‘ll be seriously happy you did tomorrow morning 🙋‍♀️ Tagged some of my favs below. 👏⁣ ⁣ 1️⃣ Slice a peeled apple and cover with hot water in a small pot with 1 tsp cinnamon, 1/2 tsp mixed spice, 1/2 tsp nutmeg, 1 tsp Manuka honey. Simmer for 10 mins, drain excess water but leave some juices, and set aside.⁣ ⁣ Meanwhile, Mix together and leave over night: ⁣ ➡️ 40g Oats (@flahavans) ⁣ ➡️ 100g 0% Strained Yogurt (@gleniskinsta) ⁣ ➡️ 160ml Super Milk (@tasteofavonmore) ⁣ ➡️ 1 tsp milled Linseed with goji Berry (@linwoodshealthfoods)⁣ ➡️ Vanilla stevia or 1/4 spoon vanilla essence if desired (@nicks_uk)⁣ ➡️ 1 tbsp Chia seeds (@chiabiaseed)⁣ ➡️ 1/2 tsp Mixed Spice⁣ ⁣ In the morning, you may add more water or milk to get your desired consistency. A lot of people asked about this meal I posted on my story a few days ago....its literally SO simple and SOOOOO GOOD🤤💚🌿 (NOTE: my rice & yam were already prepped) 1️⃣crumble firm tofu in pan, season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, & turmeric then cook to desired "doneness" & texture 2️⃣toss in @morningstarfarms spicy black bean veggie burger to same pan (just scooch over the tofu) flipping every couple minutes until it is thawed enough to chop up with your spoon/spatula then mix together with tofu 3️⃣add in a buttload of chopped spinach and cook until wilted 4️⃣package with roasted yam(sweet potato) and/or rice👌 #easypeasylemonsqueezy

Vi kan meget mere med vores vejrtrækning end bare at holde os i live. En sund og velfungerende vejrtrækning er nemlig også nøglen til en indre ro og balance både for sind og krop – og i øvrigt noget af det første, der ryger, hvis du er stresset. Når vi er stresset trækker vi vejret overfladisk og kroppe bruger ikke fedt som brændstof. Hvis du stresser eller har meget travlt, vil det påvirke din vejrtrækning. Typisk vil du trække vejret hurtigere og mere overfladisk, hvilket kan give en følelse af, at du kun trækker vejret helt oppe i toppen af brystkassen. Heldigvis kan du hente rigtig meget hjælp i at lære nogle åndedrætsteknikker. Hvis du jævnligt laver vejrtrækningsøvelser, så har det to helt store fordele. It is never ok to imply to a woman that she isn’t beautiful, sexy or feminine because she doesn’t meet your personal body type preference. ⁣ ⁣ I’ve been confident in my skin for quite some time now however it changes, nothing related to size. I’m mentally in a place where I don’t study it daily, or think about it 24/7 anymore. I have disconnected my worth from it, my focus is on health, performance and loving it in this moment. Tough in today’s society, and can change instantly with one remark if you are sensitive. I am aware I’m in a “privileged” bracket of society...⁣ ⁣ That does not justify skinny shaming, lifestyle shaming, or body bashing of any kind. It really can bring you so easily back down to square one. Before remarks are made like a “bag of bones” or “needs a good feed” - 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐩, 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤. Before you suggest they “don’t need the biscuit” or “should go for a run with you” - 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐩, 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐤. ⁣ ⁣ #RealTalk - this injury has been a rollercoaster ride of anxiety that affected my appetite. I’m getting more equipped every day to recovery, just took time. I’m now at the lower end of two weights I fluctuate between. I am energetic, healthy and still feel good🙋‍♀️. But a remark this week did knock me quite hard (skinny related), I am human. My personal goal was to fluctuate back up now to protect my hormone health & cycle which is not long back. For optimal hormonal health women need a certain level of fat. I was just going to quietly work on these goals but I’m happy to share, if it inspires a more positive way of thinking about physical change, or how you remark on other bodies. 🎀⁣ At the end of the day - come back to GAINING HEALTH.⁣ Do not strive for “body goals”. Respect the process! It takes time. Educate yourself. Ask questions. I was always heavier growing up. It didn’t really click with me how to “live healthy” until I realized I had gotten up to 230lbs in college. I was done crying about being the “big” friend, about having no dating life, I hated shopping and I just felt horrible about myself.....So I did something about it. And you can too. . Some people may have an easier time adapting to a healthier lifestyle, some it may take a while to really commit. . It’s trial and error. What works for one person may not work for someone else. . Everybody is made up of different genetics. Meaning, some may see changes in their body a lot quicker than others. . I’m not one of those lucky people. My family genes were not blessed with fast metabolisms. We have to work for it. . FACTS FRIDAY // 7 Things I wish I knew when I started lifting⁣ ⁣ When starting out with chasing any fitness goal there are going to be unknown factors. Things that confuse you and lots of contradicting info.⁣ ⁣ I’m here to clear some shit up for you 🎯⁣ ⁣ The truth is, when I started out, I was doing most things wrong and I went through a LONG trial and error process to get to where I’m at now.⁣ ⁣ I thought taking supplements and training heavy was the only way to get jacked.. ❌⁣ ⁣ Here are 7 things I wish I knew when I started my fitness journey:⁣ ⁣ 1️⃣ Focus on yourself not others.⁣ ⁣ 2️⃣ Any progress is progress, not just the weight on the scale and how you look at that moment.⁣ ⁣ 3️⃣ Lift weights with good form. Build the foundations.⁣ ⁣ 4️⃣ Eat enough protein daily (at least 1g/lb bodyweight).⁣ ⁣ 5️⃣ Supplements alone won’t do 💩. Prioritize proper nutrition & training first.⁣ ⁣ 6️⃣ Stick to a program or something structured for a prolonged period of time (avoid random workouts & splits).⁣ ⁣ 7️⃣ TRUST THE PROCESS and have fun 🔥⁣ ⁣ 🚀 This is a life long game, therefore you gotta enjoy it!⁣ ⁣ Wishing you all a great weekend! Think of when you walk into a room, the positive energy that beams from that one person always smiling. But, those which are not.. how do they make you feel?✨(how do they feel??)⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ “It takes a lot of energy to be negative - Energy is precious. It takes far less to be positive. Spend your energy wisely” - Are you investing your energy in things that feed your happiness, or gloom? What you invest mental energy in (as well as physical) should add value to your life. How do you feel after a day feeding negative thoughts, of positive ones?⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ “Smiling doesn’t necessarily mean your happy. It means your strong.” - Strong enough to fight all the negativity that the world tries to consume you with. That strength WILL being happiness. 😘😘 Some days it’s a struggle but we NEED that to grow resilience to negativity.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Today - I had so much I thought of saying, but a lot of you mentioned the importance of positivity in your feed. Heeeey. I’m not always positive - but I’ll try. The NUMBER ONE step to that, is finding positive people to surround yourself with 🌸 and you CAN do that on social media - filter it. Number two - just freaking smile. It literally can change so much for not just you, but the receiver. ⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Cheesy? Absolutely. 😷😂😘❤️⁣⁣ But, the last two days, I re-realised the aptitude of making someone 𝘴𝘮𝘪𝘭𝘦 (or the opposite) - it’s hard to put into words it’s 𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫.⁣⁣ ⁣⁣ Ps. Make the changes needed, to answer them differently next week.⁣ ⁣ 1️⃣ Are you achieving the goals you set at the beginning of this year?⁣ 2️⃣ Where will your life be in 1 year if you continue doing what you done today? ⁣ 3️⃣ Do you care more about how your life looks to others, or how it feels? ⁣ 4️⃣ How much of your day is lost to mindless negative thinking/actions? ⁣ 5️⃣ Are you doing all you can to look after yourself - mentally? Physically? Spiritually? ⁣ ⁣ This week @mirkerins_integratedwellness asked us to name the top 5 most important people in our lives. TIZ THE SEASON 🎄🍫 My 10 festive tips - 5 for your mind, 5 for your body ❤️⁣ ⁣ With the endless treats & events ahead, we can often feel guilt for indulging, having many internal battles. Or on the opposite side - really overdo it (I’ve been a binge disorder chick) & have many restrictive internal battles in the new year or next day. ⁣ At the launch for @tasteofdublin_ Taste Festive last night 🙋‍♀️🍫🙋‍♀️ Treats galore -⁣ This what I do during this time for my mind, and body. 🎄⁣ ⁣ Body 👇⁣ 1️⃣ Dont skip meals - Balance them with protein, fats and then carbs/colour. Stabilise your blood sugars to prevent hanger and emotional eating.⁣ 2️⃣ Stay hydrated - Clear urine peeps.⁣ 3️⃣ Eat the rainbow - Dont underestimate how much 7-10 servings of veg will boost your mental health.⁣ 4️⃣ Keep an exercise routine - Modify it for a busier schedule, and try do it early. ⁣ 5️⃣ Pick your indulgences - Mark out the calendar, choosing lighter wholesome options early that day IS a good idea for digestion 🍦⁣ ⁣ Mind 👇⁣ 1️⃣ Eat when you are hungry. Please, don’t try restrict yourself because you had Christmas cake last night (🙋‍♀️🙋‍♀️🙋‍♀️)⁣ 2️⃣ Accept overindulgence too. ITS NORMAL at Christmas to over eat - accept it, move on. As normal. ⁣ 3️⃣ Dont try add kale to your chocolate cake. Stop trying to make sugar free fat free calorie free versions of your festive favourites.⁣ 4️⃣ Please do not comment on anyone else’s food choices, you don’t know their possible battles. (Ps. ALSO don’t comment on their size - even if it’s a “compliment”).⁣ 5️⃣ Close relationships bring more happiness than a six pack. Fact. Enjoy this time without stressing. I just feel happy and thankful ❣⁣ ⁣ Nei, verken jeg eller livet mitt er perfekt. Men ting trenger virkelig ikke være det. For hva er egentlig den perfekte kropp eller det perfekte liv?! Istedet for å fokusere på de tingene jeg ikke liker så godt ved meg selv og mitt liv, velger heller jeg å fokusere på det bra og det gode. Og jeg forsøker å setter pris på de små tingene.
