Right so goodmorning gals, 11 members today 😊😊 so here’s how my morning started. So I was woken up to a loud sound of bashing in the hallway, I thought it was my dog trying to do some cheeky bits with the cactus again but no, Garth stole the 1lb jar of Nutella out of my secret cupboard and threw it across the hallway at his little plump sissy Greta! I was fuming, she had brown chocolate spread all over her and he ruined my canvas painting... there was blood all over my running shoes grrrrr! Then I go to make breakfast and check outside to see if the milk man came. Instead of giving me two pints of whole milk, he put some shitty purple skimmed milk and left me a note “lose some weight fatty”! I was fuming 😭 I waddled all the way to the gym and used my favourite machine.... THE VENDING MACHINE NOM NOM NOM. It’s been all kinds of a shit week when it comes to work.. oh my god let Friday be a better day!!!! 😑 I’m tired and I did fuck ups at work that shouldn’t have been fuck ups.. I’ve smashed my fingers.. I’ve forgotten simple fucking things to do with my job.. it’s been insane how much shit has almost hit the fan but was sorted before or during or after! 🤦♀️
So I’ve legit just come home from work and showered and just tried to chill.. I need to go food shopping but I’m like nope I’m not inflicting this week on others! 😂
I don’t have much left in the place but enough to throw together.. made an egg, tomato, sausage scramble with cheese, mayo and tomato sauce.. just I went to wrap it I chopped up some cabbage!!! 👍 was a good crunch to have.. dinner sorted for tonight! 😅

BBQ DINNER THIS EVE! 😍🤟🏼

After a long day of work and a little push session this afternoon, I’m pretty proud I had the creativity to come up with this one 😂 - an absolute mish-mash of things I know I like on one plate and praise da lord it turned out fab 😅🙌🏼
So here we have:
▫️ A @lindamccartneyfoods pulled pork veggie burger - that I cooked then broke up in a frying pan with a little oil and extra bbq sauce to make all stickyyyy
▫️ Lemon and coriander cous cous with green peppers (fridge leftovers)
▫️ Salada with Caesar dressing 🌱
▫️ And the star: the beaut bbq roasted aubergine! To make I literally just cut an aubergine in two and scored it diagonally, then smothered it in bbq sauce and roasted on 180 for 20/25 mins! Other half was plonked on top after the pic.
Deeeelightful ✨! Showing that ‘non-cooking’ dinners like these can still be bloody tasty and somewhat inventive 😜. Now I’m back to work prepping for my busiest day at uni tomorrow (9-5:30 straight aaa).
And 99% chance no one will notice but think I’ll be taking a main feed insta break tomorrow so I can properly focusss. Plus my meals are bound to be pretty grim and grab-n-go. Will still story as per let’s be honest 🌚

🧀 Roasted Creamy Cauli N' Cheese 🧀
This recipe is Low Carb & Healthier 👌🏻 We're using that insanely versatile cruciferous vegetable; the cauliflower here...simply roasting it up, then tossing it in a quick #homemade cheese sauce by @cleanfoodcrush
Our end result is CREAMY, and DELICIOUS comfort food with WAY less carbohydrates than traditional cheesy Mac.
Consider doubling up this #recipe, and adding it to your holiday table to create an extremely decadent, and satisfying lower carbohydrate option for your guests.
One of the easiest ways to make some positive changes in your health is to start with the oils you use.
We use a lot oil each and every day, especially when cooking or in dressings, but many people are using the wrong type of oil.
Cut out all refined oils except extra-virgin olive oil. I like to use a high quality olive oil for my dressings.
When #cooking, frying, or sauteing, use unrefined coconut oil, avocado oil, and even ghee.
makes 4 servings
1 large #cauliflower head cut into florets
2 Tbsps olive oil, #avocado oil
1 cup unsweetened almond, coconut, or cashew milk
1 Tbsp #glutenfree flour
1/2 cup shredded cheddar #cheese
1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp onion powder
sea salt and pepper to taste
1 tbsp fresh parsley
Optional: crumbled nitrate free #bacon to sprinkle on top
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees f.
In a large bowl, stir the cauliflower with oil and season.
On a large, baking sheet, covered with parchment paper, arrange your cauliflower in a single layer. Roast them until they are golden on the sides and fork-tender.
Add your milk and flour to a saucepan and whisk until incorporated. Heat and stir in the cheese, garlic, onion, s+p. Stir constantly to avoid cheese sticking and burning to the bottom of the pan. Cook until you get a smooth thick sauce.
Remove from heat.
Pour your cheese sauce over the roasted cauliflower and toss to coat.

Yes, if 1600 calories is an appropriate target for your weight loss goal, then sticking to either of these diets would bring results. ⚖️ ⠀
However foods offer us more than just calories. Traditionally 'healthy foods' tend to be advantageous for weight loss because they are more voluminous per kcal, more filling and more micro dense. All of this creates a healthier, less hungry environment, which makes sticking to the diet more possible. 🥕 ⠀
Trying to eat 1600kcal of processed foods will likely result in far less filling, less voluminous food and poor micro density. Feeling sluggish and very hungry is not a great way to go about losing weight and will almost certainly lead to overconsumption or going off track. 🍪 ⠀

Both diets above have draw backs, there should always be an element of balance. Choose the diet that helps you maintain a #caloriedeficit for the length of time required to lose weight, happily and healthily.
