Bolo de banana e castanhas 😋 3 bananas pequenas bem maduras 4 col. sopa de óleo de coco 1 col. sopa canela em pó 1 col. sopa de açúcar mascavo 4 ovos 1 xícara farinha de amêndoas 1 xícara de aveia em flocos 1 col. sopa fermento em pó 10 castanhas do Pará 20 uva passa 6 damascos 1/2 xícara de água . Preparo . . No liquidificador vai bater os ingredientes, deixando de fora as farinhas, fermento e as sementes. Depois acrescenta a farinha de amêndoa a aveia e o mix de sementes misturando com uma colher, por último coloca o fermento. Today's garden workout... Snatch training - this feels a lot better than the last time I did it - got into the habit of jumping forward instead of extending upwards - I've spent a bit of time trying to drill the movement pattern in and it seems to be working.... I wasn't allowed to jump over the line on the mats 😅 Overhead squat is improving also - 25kg for 3 reps, and this feels pretty comfortable. I know it's still baby weights in comparison, but it's a massive deal for me! Included a super speedy version of the WOD I did at the end - 18 min AMRAP of 5 power snatch, 10 Burpee over bar and 15 ring rows. "Beware of focussing too much on ‘Correctional Exercises’. There is a psychosocial part at play here which can be counterproductive. It may even be that this could be more applicable when you travel. . . Listening to the legend that is @steficohen discuss pain and rehabilitation with Ft Dr Liebenson on the Hybrid Unlimited podcast (Ep 21), it reminded of another podcast on the Nocebo on the shrugged collective a little while back (sorry I can’t find the episode in question). . . However, whether your goal is to move better, get stronger or be pain-free, the nocebo effect is an essential factor to consider. The negative sister to the more well known, placebo, the very belief that you have a movement issue or imbalance can create one. . . It’s not my place to say that correctional exercises don’t have value, but consider framing them with a positive mentality. Conceptualise your movement with ‘what you CAN do’, and don’t focus on weakness, imbalance or pain. . . As you travel to multiple different gyms across the world, you will meet some great coaches. However, you will also meet some coaches who will eagerly point out obvious imbalances or compensations. It’s essential to have the character to know when to be resistant to these negative queues. . . Be aware of how to transform your movement for the better, but don’t let the negative queues be fundamental to your practice. . . Whoever thought a broom would be such a great piece of workout equipment. Though the weight isn't there it can still replicate positioning and proper form for your lifts.
