Check in pics this morning depleated at 192.2lbs, the lightest I've been in years. It's a little hard to gauge the tightness compared to stage shots with full muscles, but this is definitely improved over CT a bit. I'll continue to depleate hard today and then likely add some fats in tomorrow. Feel free to give feedback or criticism guys. I do appreciate any and all your thoughts on this stuff. Posing critiques are all welcomed as well. Just looking for things I haven't thought of.

We started up last year after she prepped herself and came in very lean, just a bit less muscle than needed. In quegli anni però gareggiavo senza un preparatore vero e proprio, chiedevo consiglio al grande Matteo Mazzotti, poi quest’anno mi sono affidato a Riccardo Grandi e devo dire che i risultati non sono tardati ad arrivare. Covering All Bases⠀ • ⠀ The notion of “hitting a muscle from every angle” was coined in broscience culture as a way of justifying a bodybuilder doing incline, decline and flat pressing movements all in the same session. Whilst we know now from the literature that this approach is likely not optimal, I do think changing up hand placements can be beneficial for targeting different fibres of a given muscle. ⠀ •⠀ For example, the latissimus dorsi muscle has fibres running in different directions in order to allow it to perform different actions. The vertical fibres will extend the shoulder, the horizontal fibres will perform transverse abduction and a mixture of these will adduct and internally rotate at the glenohumeral joint.⠀ • ⠀ These multiple actions mean that this muscle can be stimulated using multiple movements which is very helpful for muscle building as different exercises can be rotated in and out whilst still targeting the lats. If you want to ensure the lats are thoroughly trained, vary your choice of row or pull down through changing the action or hand positioning of the movement and if you can do this, you are ensuring no gains are left on the table. ⠀ • ⠀ #ThinkToGrow

Bolj kot uvrstitve pa je seveda važen napredek od lanskega leta - 3kg več na odru, z boljšo formo, ter nekaj tekmovalnimi izkušnjami vec. Po tekmi v MKD sva z Gašperjem takoj izpostavila napake pri poziranju, ki jih nama je uspelo uspešno odpraviti do tekme v MB. V 1 tednu pa nama je tudi uspelo izboljšati formo, kar se jasno vidi tudi na slikah. . Torej najprej iskrena HVALA trenerju @grom_gasper za priganjanje iz dneva v dan, usmerjanje, treniranje, vodenje prehrane. Brez njegovega znanja, izkušenj si takega napredka ne predstavljam! Self sabotage. One thing to remember when dieting is to stick to the plan. This is when having a coach or a specific plan in place. It’s very easy to trick yourself into thinking you are not making progress fast enough, or that your plan isn’t working. So what do you do? You make drastic changes. And when that doesn’t work you change something else. If you constantly change things around you will never give your body a chance to react. Losing or gaining weight takes time, and constant dedication. Make a plan and stick to it, and only make small changes when necessary. #StickToThePlan #TrustThrProcess #Pulse

Mi alleno da molto tempo anche in relazione a ciò che facevo prima nella mia vita lavorativa (12 anni di servizio nei reparti speciali della Marina militare). Looking back on some of the improvements that I still want to make. I spend most of my leg days working my hamstrings and glutes nowadays. It's been a problem area my entire career and it seems to be tough for all lifetime natty guys. I've been focusing a lot on hamstring curls and rotating gyms so I can try different machines 😁

Long term plans. I'll be taking a long off season, improving my weak points, getting stronger, enjoying my food and when it's time to get back on stage again I'll make sure 1st place is mine. When it comes to building shoulders I always do db lateral raises. When I say always I mean 99% of my shoulder training sessions include some variation of these. Nothing makes my shoulder 🔥like a strict set of these. Use a weight that you can control all the way up with out using momentum and are able to squeeze hard at the top. We finally went out for dinner!! 🥳🥳 . . Since we moved into a walkable neighbourhood, I’ve been dreaming of the day when we can walk to a local restaurant and enjoy a dinner out. Now that show day is over, I can start living a much more flexible lifestyle that includes restaurants!! . . It’s not just a free for all now that competition season is over for me. While I indulged over the weekend, it’s time to reverse diet and slowly work my calories back up. . . At dinner, I didn’t eat much of my fettuccine Alfredo (impressive, right?). I stopped when I was full, even though part of me wanted to wolf down the whole dish as fast as I could! . . I’m really excited to start taking care of my health with food. I want to get back in tune with my hunger and satiety signals, get my hormones balanced out, and get rid of food anxiety. These things ended up being side effects of extreme dieting for my #contestprep . Now that I’ve conquered that goal, it’s time to take care of my body and start getting strong again from the inside out! . . I’m doing this with the expertise and guidance of my super coaching team @rippedgeekfitness and I’m super excited for the next few months. It’s not gonna be easy, but I’m ready to put in the work! . . PS. I had a photoshoot in the morning so I obviously HAD to get out and about to show off the makeup! Mit dem gestrigen Tag ging ein weiteres Wettkampfwochende und gleichzeitig eine hervorragende, zweite Wettkampfsaison von @steffimilchkuh zu Ende 🔥. Durch die ca. 30min Anreisezeit war es diesmal ein echtes Heimspiel, was das Ganze deutlich stressfreier gemacht hat als die beiden Wochen zuvor 👌🏻. • Trotz Optimierungspotential an der ein oder anderen Stelle, war es ein durchaus gelungener 2. Wettkampf der @wnbfgermany 🇩🇪 mit teils sehr starken Athleten. • Positiv hervorheben möchte ich die Entwicklung im Judging, das in meinen Augen deutlich nachvollziehbarer war als letztes Jahr 👍🏻. • Ich bin gespannt wie sich der Verband in den nächsten Jahren entwickelt. • Außerdem war es ein weiteres Mal sehr schön zu sehen, was #naturalbodybuilding für eine heftige Community hat 😍. My conditioning is currently the best it’s ever been - just over 2 weeks to go till @romania_muscle_fest_pro . Something in my mind has clicked on this prep and it’s made me stick to a strict food plan - in the past I’ve slacked on my side and relied too much on my genetics and the muscle I have gained over the years, can be a downfall when prepping yourself . I can NOW see 👀 what I am actually able to do and reach my actual potential whilst coaching myself 👌🏾😀 . SO THE MORAL of the story guys and girls - you can always improve, just concentrate on your weaker areas of your prep or just LIFE in general and TRUST ME you will improve and actually feel good about it 👌🏾
