Beautiful Brianna and Jorden became a hitched couple this arvo amongst the rainforest with a hovering mist of rain...it smelt as great as it looked.
These two beauties stuck true to themselves and had a quirky ceremony that represented them to a tee. As we told their D’floor love story the laughter was loud and the tears were plentiful...JUST AS IT SHOULD BE.
I’ll never cease to be amazed (in a good way) by the people I meet.
Kudos to cameraman Scott Turner for getting my equipment inside in the blink of an eye when the rain came in and to those guys I don’t know who picked up my other bits. 🙌🏼
I’m meant to be done with books for the year. But then, I had an idea and that idea turned into a story and stories need to be told, so I’m christening my brand new writing space with some words and feeling oh-so-happy to be wading into a new world with new people. On another note, I’ve been a bit absent on here this past week. In truth, I’ve found it hard to know what to say while half of the country is burning. Suffice it to say, I’m thinking of those affected by this awful outbreak of catastrophic bushfires. I can’t even imagine how terrifying and distressing it would be to go through that. 😭
Loved this day AGAIN! This is actually my favourite part of an event, right after sound check and right before the audience arrive - that calm but exciting moment to take a breath and set a clear intention to be apart of something great that matters. Mastercard have been such a brilliant team to work with, smart, talented, forward thinking and just wonderful people. So much gratitude ❤️💛
With no thanks to Mother Nature, I've had a fairly quiet week with no sessions. Sometimes, though, a higher power seems to know when you need a rest! Crossing fingers I should be back at it tomorrow! So, I leave you with the beauty that surrounds me every night when I go to sleep 💖🐾💕
I can relate to your post mama. Just know that you are a strong mother and I know your children see that 💖 see what I mean about @hikingd_ post below 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻
Posted @withrepost • @hikingd_ I was putting some clothes away when my son came over crying, he said sorry to me with such emotion. I’m sorry for everything you have to go through mom, sorry for all the stuff I have to do for him and for Joss. So I start crying because it made me emotional seeing him cry with such feeling. I told him as long as he grows up to be a good human being then it’s all worth it. My poor little empath ❤️❤️ - So he said he will try to help me out more and not leave a mess for me.
Being a mom isn’t easy but trying to be a good one is the only thing I can try to do. -
Yesterday I got paid from my not so little virtual skincare business. I’m especially grateful for the extra money this time of year but particularly today because 👇🏻 my brand new Peloton was delivered 🙌🏻. I know, I know- in a moment of insanity, I decided ‘what the heck - I have 30 days to try this thing out - I’ll either love it or hate it but I won’t know unless I try it’ - sounds kinda familiar to what I was thinking when I joined RF (except I had 60 days to give it a test run 😉) The reality is, I need to buckle down and look after my health more seriously - thanks to my treatments, weight gain is one of the more noticeable side effects, as well as loss of bone density 😩 so exercise is a core part of my treatment plan and I needed something that I can squeeze into my busy days. And now I don’t have to wrestle with the question of ‘can I really afford this?’ Thanks to my RF pay check, the answer is ‘Yes!’ If you or someone you know could use 12 extra paychecks a year we should talk. The biggest gift I could give YOU is a bit of financial wiggle room.
Not going to lie, I sometimes get requests from clients, and I say to myself "say what do you want it to say" this one, so as per usual I require some form of explanation to satisfy curiosity..... this one I'll mark as seriously hilarious win!
Today’s office view!
You’re probably thinking, “why did this chick post an ugly picture of clouds from mid level?”
Is it the most picturesque view from an airplane? No. Was today’s sortie profile super cool? No. .
But, did I get paid to fly to Knoxville, TN today? Yes. Did I have fun flying with a crew full of awesome people today? Yes. Is this “crappy” view better than any view I’ve ever had at a desk job? Yes.
Just a reminder on the “boring flying days”, that almost any day spent in the air is better than a day spent at a desk!
Happy Thursday everyone, 1 day until the weekend!
