Today was a biiiig oof haha. I didn't eat very well this week, nor have I been sleeping well, so I think this combo was a reason for why I felt so weak today. I started strong, focusing on trying pull ups from the top and working on lowering myself slow and controlled so I was proud of those! They probably were another factor as to why my arms and back felt so exhausted too, honestly haha. Day 7 of the Autumn/Joel Hybrid is LIIFT4 Week 4 Back and Biceps followed by 21 Day Fix Real Time Total Body Cardio! Let me start by saying that I started the day already sore from yesterday! I went up in almost all of my weights from last week for back and biceps! I did NOT do the same for TBC since we had the progression to the harder move half way through the minute! I am so glad that I showered and washed my hair almost immediately after because if I had waited I would be screwed! My whole body is sore af in the best way possible! I don’t even want to know how sore I would be without my Recover and Recharge! Tomorrow is Chest and Triceps which should be interesting because my triceps are still sore from yesterday’s double PLYO pushups! Things have been crazy at work lately so workouts seem to be far and few... BUT I’m trying to make the ones I am getting in count 💪🏼!! If there is one rule you follow when trying to build muscle it should be that you never allow yourself to train within a given rep range for more than 4-6 weeks. Switch it up if you train hypertrophy then start powerlifting and if you have gone back and forth between the two and want to switch it up for more gains try light weight EXPLOSIVE movements like the hang clean.
