Reason #3 of why I workout I feel healthy than ever. Working out has definitely made me healthier and has strengthened my immune system. I now incorporate cinnamon, turmeric ( with black pepper), lemon, ginger and black seed oil into my daily routine. I find I have more energy, recover faster and just generally feel good. 2020 has been a hell of a few months so far. I feel like all of our stress levels are higher than usual. ⁣ ⁣ Stress affects us all in different ways, some are more noticeable than others. Take some time to yourself, reflect and work to reduce some of the stress that may be present for you. ⁣ ⁣ Deep breathing can work very well, and its very easy. ⁣ ⁣ 1. Sit or lay down, and close your eyes. Get nice and comfortable. ⁣ ⁣ 2. Place one hand on your chest, and one hand on your belly. ⁣ ⁣ 3. Take a nice deep breathe in through your nose. The hand on your belly should move the most, the hand on your chest should move very little. ⁣ ⁣ 4. Exhale through pursed lips.⁣ ⁣ It’s as easy as that. 10 minutes to yourself, deep breathing and reflecting can work wonders for your mind and your body.

These may not be the right words, but I feel the need to express my thoughts. Change comes when people step out of their comfort zone. Our time to stand up is NOW. •• I will be the first to admit that I used to be part of the problem, hindering these movements due to my lack of participation. I didn’t think it was my place to be voicing these thoughts. My silence was never intended to be harmful, but simply a result of my fear of being “wrong” or saying something incorrectly. I have felt inadequate and uneducated to the point where I didn’t know how to react or respond. Others were eloquently taking a stand and I didn’t know if I had that ability. However, I need to do my part and stand with our Black brothers and sisters. •• It is time that we all step up and take responsibility, even if you don’t think it’s “your problem” it is truly ALL of our problems. •• I’ve had conversations with my friends, my parents, and boyfriend about the current atmosphere and injustice within our society. We recognize our place when addressing these issues, not having experienced any personal injustice or inequality and possessing white privilege, but understand that our privilege comes with responsibility to stand up during these times. OUR voices are the ones that need to be joining in during this time. •• You don’t have to change the world or be the loudest voice in the room. However, now is our time to educate those around us. The content is out there and easier to digest than ever before. There are a multitude of ways you can make a difference, but it starts with you taking that step forward. •• Then we must take that knowledge and have the hard conversations with our loved ones to ensure everyone understands the importance of this movement and these times. •• Now is our chance - for anyone who has previously taken the back seat with me - to step up and use our voices. I have privileges and freedoms that others long for every single day. •• I pray for this injustice to end for all. It will take time, but I believe we will eventually get on the right track. •• I see you. I hear you. I stand with you. Everyone deserves to be loved.
