The muscle up is one of my all time favorite exercises, it works so much of you body and I get asked about it a lot. So for today’s #workoutwednesday I compiled a number of exercises to build up your strength until you’ve mastered the muscle up! 🙌🏼🔥🔥
~10 clean form pull ups ~(8-10)explosive pull ups (chest to bar)
~(8-10) hyper-explosive muscle ups (belly/waist
~(8-10) assisted muscle ups (jump off a bench or a box)
~MASTERED MUSLCE UPS
Before you move onto the harder progression, make sure you have the current progression mastered. With any calisthenics exercise, it takes time and a little perseverance. Achieve all of your goals, push past your limits, and most importantly don’t give up. LETS GET IT🔥💪🏼

A little progress update for you guys.
I started my cut 6 weeks ago, currently down 3.5% body fat.
We upped the volume in the weight room as well as increased the protein. This is important while staying on a caloric deficit to maintain as much muscle mass as possible.
If you saw my post a month ago, I said I was going to eat "junk food" 3-4x a week.
As a disclaimer I had a medium deep dish pepperoni pizza to myself last night. (Delicious but not recommended).

You can ‘prime’ muscles all you want, or you can work through ranges of motion with intent and focus in order to get the body ready for the task at hand. If you’re going to squat, then squat as your warmup. Change up the range of motion maybe (as shown), but no need for frills. #gluteactivation is silly.

Hayden and I have been ‘flexible dieting’ for about five years now.
