#TransformationTuesday I started adding our new Amino Acids - BCAA "Sculpt" with my 3 easy steps on November 1st. I do workout 4-5 days a week, but I also did so in the picture from August. I do watch my carbs most days but not always. I had Mexican with my friends today 🌮🤭😂🤷‍♀️. Lifestyle changes can be very hard and they are also like riding a roller coaster. Ups, downs, turns, unexpected flips, but when you decide, most days, to really give your body the attention it deserves, hard work and dedication has it's rewards. I am only 5-6 lbs lighter compared to then but I've lost over 12 inches! Throw your scales away! Weight is just a number. I'm so thankful for those 3 easy steps with the added Sculpt! I'll be 45 my next birthday and I am in the best shape of my life! I have truly never felt better! So thankful I decided to make a change when I did. The smashed garlic adds such phenomenal flavor that it’s hard to stop eating it. This creamy, delightful dish is perfect for your holiday repertoire this year! Yum! Courtesy of RealHealthyRecipes.com What you need Serves 4 1 head cauliflower florets 3 tablespoons Coconut Oil OR Butter 6 garlic cloves, smashed 3 tablespoons Plain Greek Yogurt ¼ cup parmesan cheese (or 2 Tbsp of nutritional yeast) sea salt and black pepper 1 Tbsp fresh chives, minced *optional garnish Instructions 1. Place the cauliflower florets in a pot of water and bring to a boil for 10 minutes, until tender. Drain the pot and transfer the cauliflower to a food processor. 2. Return the pot to medium heat. Motivation is a funny thing. It comes and goes (for me anyway) in waves, but usually it never lasts very long when i lose it. That’s what been so strange about the funk I’m currently in. 3+ weeks. Weird. But, apparently I just need to give myself some grace and time. How do I know that? Yesterday I was cleaning out pictures on my phone and found this that I had saved from back in MAY. The struggle was real then between programs as well. But I’ve done most of the things on the list. The one I’m working on now is setting a smaller goal to get me through this time. I just thought it was interesting to remind myself that it happens, and the funk will end. Soon enough. Do you hold yourself to higher expectations than anyone else? No really.... 🤚🏽yesterday I got a lot of messages saying thanks for sharing the gnocchi covered in butter 🤣 . Would you ever say to your sister, “whelp, you really blew your vacation with all those memorable dinners with your husband”? “Or that was a decent workout, but you didn’t complete that last round....” to your mom or best friend who just finished a workout? . I try to keep it pretty honest around here—I won’t sugar coat the fact that sticking to nutrition that achieves results takes WORK, but not perfection or rigidity 24/7 (thank goodness because that gnocchi was life changing) . And yes, #weeklymovesworkouts are typically closer to an hour, BUT my love for circuits and these workouts is that (IF YOU LET THEM) they are effective no matter what your time constraint. You can reduce each circuit by one round, you can skip the optional burnouts, you can omit a circuit completely, you can skip the cardio recommendations— but you CANNOT feel guilty for an accomplished workout, deal? . The ability to tell yourself and actually believe: “living a healthy lifestyle is a tool to enrich life, not an end in and of itself” is important . What’s your one cheeky piece of advice for making quad gains? 😛 LMK below! Mine would be range of motion ↩️ If you’re always doing a cheeky and cutting your range of motion short, try executing a full range of motion in your leg exercises. If you’re doing a squat, use the mirror or ask a coach to check that your upper thigh is hitting parallel to the floor or going just below. There’s a time and place for half reps and the likes of, but don’t always neglect the full range.

Monday Mental Challenge! 😁 . . When a negative thought enters your mind, I challenge you to think of THREE positive ones to replace it! . . For example: If you’re stuck in traffic and are thinking of how terrible it is. Stop, block, and think positive or say a prayer: . . 1. I’m thankful I have a car to drive. . . 2. I’m thankful that even though I’m stuck in traffic, I can use this time to listen to my favorite podcast or book. . . 3. Pray for whoever or whatever might be causing the traffic jam. (someone could be hurt in an accident, their car stalled, or workers fixing the road to make it better) . . We alllllll get negative thoughts or complaints in our head throughout the day, about people, things, and events. 99% of which are, if you think about it, 1st world problems. If you find yourself constantly complaining realize that’s most like an attitude problem that needs to be checked. Change your thoughts, change your world! 😁😁😁 . . . Photography: @francismajorpain
