🔷🔹 W E E K E N D S 🔹🔷 I can’t speak for everyone but I tend to eat way under my calorific needs on a Sunday especially. I find that if I don’t eat enough calories or if I eat calories from the wrong sources my training really suffers on a Monday. Today I’ve been at a christening where I’ve been able to spend time with my nephew (pictured) and I’m just about to watch (peaking from behind my fingers) Man Utd vs Liverpool. Yes I’ve had some beers and yes, maybe a cake or two 👀 But I want to make sure that I’ve eaten enough starchy carbs and protein, along with enough sleep in preparation for training tomorrow - or I just won’t have the right amount of energy for a busy day tomorrow. I always want to enjoy my weekend, as we all should. But not to the point that it affects Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday. I remember posting this a couple of weeks back and being SUPER proud of myself. I had just gotten finished working out and really wanted a pic of this cotton candy hair 🍭 Upon looking at the pics, I noticed that I wasn’t looking as lean as a “trainer” should - but I didn’t care and posted it anyways. That 👏🏽 took 👏🏽 guts!👏🏽 . . Even the most fit person you know gets bloated, has cheat meals, skips a couple of days (they’re all me btw👋🏽) but you can never allow that to deteriorate you and who you are as a person! I’m still strong, I’m still a trainer, and I am still awesome AF even though sometimes my abs are no where in sight 😜 . . How do you best #CreatetheTime for self love ?
